Cool story, Dean! Eight more minutes!!!
-
I wasn't talking about any of those episodes though, just the season 6/7 episodes. Everyone knows the first time Doctor Who shot in North America it was in Vancouver for the 1996 movie. So, let it go? And if you guys don't like my choices, post your own

Thomas Was Alone. Good platform puzzler and addicting when you got into the rhythm of it. No platinum sucks but the gold for completing was appreciated.

1 360 and 1 PS3... I AM INVINCIBLE!! .....knock on wood.....
-
Uhhh.. Dean, they actually shot episodes in NYC and Utah, not a Quarry in Wales. The first story arc in season 6 and The Angels Take Manhattan. So what exactly are you arguing? EDIT: IN FACT.... why am I arguing this?! I legit don't care. Legit. Anywho... here's my top 5 list of 12th Doctors, so when one of them is named the Doctor tomorrow, I can quote this and we can all discuss how accurate I am. IN NO ORDER: Rupert Grint (He finally goes ginger) Daniel Radcliffe (Cause you know, British actor) Ben Whishaw Idris Elba Richard Ayoade
-
Except for the episodes they shot in USA... EDIT: And anyways, the way you came across was pretty dismissive against ANY black or woman actor. Obviously they're not just going to give the role to some person just because they're black, but if it's an incredibly talented actor that's perfect for the role that happens to be black/white/woman I'd hope they get the role.

Yeah. Nintendo's digital policies are bullcrap. This is why I would NEVER in a million years purchase a 3DS game that's available in retail on the eShop, though I purchase almost all my Vita games digitally, because Sony knows what the fuck they're doing. Sucks you lost the ambassador games. Hang onto your PC backup, maybe they'll stop sucking one day?

One of these days, Gerbil... one of these days!!!
-
What Gerbil said. You're crazy if you think Idris Elba shouldn't get the role because he's a black man. He's more than suited and capable. Also not sure what you're trying to argue about the CBC/BBC/DW thing. Has the CBC given money to help produce DW? Yes. Check out this article here, while they didn't put in any creative input, they did receive a co-producer credit. Even if they didn't, that doesn't mean the Doctor couldn't be Canadian/Australian/American/whatever as the show has become a lot less British under Moffat's rain and a Doctor without an accent could help sell it further to American audiences, which could help grow the show even further in North America, a much bigger market than the UK. That's really the show's next step, isn't it? Great, Gerbil, I forgot about Richard Ayoade as a possible Doctor... now I'm going to be disappointed tomorrow no matter who it is unless it's him.
-
I'm certain you need the original 3DS that the games are tied to, to do the copying. Unless they've changed it?
-
Don't know what you mean by a UK TV License Fee but the CBC helped finance the show when it relaunched. Hence why the early seasons of the 9th/10th Doctor were shown in Canada way before the US. The whole revival series probably wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the CBC.
-
Yeah I did that last summer, it was an easy process. I recommend copying your SD card to your computer for backup just in case because.. Nintendo.
-
Why would a black Doctor be silly? Maybe not an American Doctor, I imagine British people would just complain the whole time but Australia and Canada are both part of the commonwealth and are just as culturally relevant these days. Not to mention the financial support DW has received from CBC and other parts of Canada over the years.
-
That's a good point. The show, from an international perspective has never been bigger, maybe getting someone recognizable would kick that up another gear? Could be a smart move. Wasn't one of the 5 or 6 Doctors a fairly known actor when he was cast? This all goes with my theory that it could be Rupert Grint.
-
Ugh, Billie Piper as the Doctor would terrible. But I don't see that happening. Idris Elba would be my favourite. Ben Whishaw would be great too, I've been a fan of his since I saw him in I'm Not There, though I see him being a little more in the style of Tennant/Smith's Doctors and I think it's time for a change, but if they want to keep things similar, Ben Whishaw has my vote. But at the end of the day, my gut feeling is it'll be an unknown actor.

To expand on Ethan's point (still no sources, but I read it on the Nintendo official site and it was someone like Aonuma, so not just some random rumour) the reason they're not going to add the extra dungeons back in is because they were already recycled in to subsequent Zelda games so there simply aren't two unseen dungeons waiting to be popped back in to WW. Yeah I read that too. I was thinking more like they'd MAKE new dungeons. I know, that won't happen, but a man can dream, Goh.

That's good to hear. I never really liked Borderlands. Are you playing solo?
-
I use one of these at work. It was weird at first, now it is the only type of mouse I can use.
-
Me too. Sailing alone could shave a couple hours off the game. Unless... they were going to add in more dungeons... not likely but.... fingers crossed...

Majora's Mask and Wind Waker were different. But Twilight Princess was very similar to Ocarina. Which I liked, so forget you guys!

Bethesda is releasing a boxset of Elder Scrolls 1 - 5 plus all the DLC, probably is: only for PC. I'd love to get something similar of Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim optimized to run on PS4 at some point. ...I just really want to play through Oblivion and earn trophies.

At this point, I'm having more fun watching the Wii U crash and burn than actually playing it. Just as a fan of this industry, as someone who follows it closely, it's very interesting seeing a console be so mismanaged, from the second they announced it till today. It's fascinating! How far can it fall?
-
Finally given Dark Souls a try. It's not really as hard as I thought it would be, it just wants you to play the game a very specific way. It's about learning enemy patterns and understanding rules of the game. So far, very early in, I wouldn't say it's been unfair.

I was about to critisize you for not just DLing it on PS+ but maybe it didn't come to EU? You get off easy this time, Dan... this time...
