I dislike the DH rule. Makes the pitcher less of a man. But, maybe the Cubs will have better success in the AL. And maybe they can get some more rallys together and put up some more runs with a DH. Cubs got a long way to go. I'd go see them if I were around that area. I'm heading to Oakland to check the A's out before they /probably/ move to San Jose. My buddy grew up in Oakland. His dad died when he was little. So he has a lot of memories about that stadium with his dad, and he gets the 20 game package every year to go with his brother and sister. I go with him, as well. Him working in athletic marketing, he also has freinds who work in that stadium. It's a real heartbreaker for him that he might never go to that stadium again to see his beloved team. Cool that you got the The Freak's jersey. Those aren't cheap, and they look sharp.

Baseball is my love. I watch the G-men as much as I can. I listen to KNBR 680 out of the bay area (Giant's flagship station). I loved watching the Dodgers get shutout and swept for the entire series. That was unbelievable! The bats on my team just needs to pickup. I miss posting with Michael Dukakis, as I love a good fan of baseball, even though he's a Mets fan.

Madagascar 3. Just okay. The penguins and their antics make the movie watchable. But, the main character is kind of someone you don't really care about. I thought the antagonist could have been way more developed. Basically, the kids in the theatre didn't really laugh at the jokes in the movie as much as they laughed at the preview for Despicable Me 2, which I am very much looking forward to next year.

Word! Arok Lazarus won't sign up here, and he's the one person on Kotaku who I talk about KoTOR and KoTOR2 all day with, over and over again. I have tried, but he won't do it. So, for our gaming news, we are going to Giantbomb. I just need to get over there and give up Kotaku permanently.

When you click on a page, the site will try to default you to "m.kotaku.com/blahblahblah". Change the "m" to "us.kotak...". Works like a charm every time.

I'm loving Hell's Kitchen! That show cracks me up. No one would hire these people to work in their restaurant. And no one would want to work for a dick like that. In addition to that, you would think that if you auditioned for this show, you might want to practice making 4 things: Beef wellington, scallops, striped sea bass, and rizzotto. These things are always on the menu. No surprises here.

As far as I know, there's only one Olive Garden in western Canada, it's in Langley BC. Pretty much anytime you want to go there, it's so busy you're waiting outside, halfway across the parking lot. It's crazy. But so worth it.

Here is the bad part, which we all hate to look at with this ruling by the courts: Congress now has the power to mandate what you purchase/how your money is spent beyond regular taxation. This is the core problem of this ruling. This isn't taxation anymore, or enacting laws for the benefit of the public. This is very unique to this country, as this is an entrance to the dictating of your spend. Now, depending how "coverage" is defined, a good capitalist can find a way to make bank on this.

Played the Wii this weekend: SMB, Carnival Games, Disney Princesses Enchanted Journey (of course with the kids). To my amazement, I enjoyed them all!

We just got to Lake Tahoe 4 hours ago. So far, we went and skipped rocks on the beach, met the neighbors, played with Lego's, took a stroll, ate, did a puzzle, and signed up for Netflix. This. Is. Awesome!
