  1. I gave my love to Erin. She promised to be true. I went to war to come back to find five british soldiers had their way with her.... it was consensual :'(

      This requires context.

By the way, I found a note in your car from Dirty Mike and the boys.

  2. Watched Hotel Transylvania. Surprisingly, wasn't half bad. Adam Sandler must've had minimal role with the writing :P

man it'd be nice if he could release that supposed Samurai Jack movie one day

They did manage to pull off a decent movie. The character of the human, after I leave the theater, turns out to be the one I remember the least, even though he is supposed to be one of the main 3 characters.

As much as I hate Selena Gomez, I gotta admit her character was my favorite. Plus I'm a sucker for animated romances so I liked that too.

  3. Well if you're playing with weapons.. I guess? The game doesn't "require" precision aiming if that's not how you're playing it.
  4. I beat the first level yesterday. And yeah, that stealth tip makes sense now. I'm playing on hard and I was wondering why everytime I attempted to pass that first set of guards one of them would always see me. Not only is darkness only important from far away, he didn't seem like he would ever turn around. Also I'm thankful that knocking out guards doesn't take away from the hard achievements such as beating the whole game without raising any alarms or being seen. I'm at a disadvantage playing on console with the long load times, and since I constantly have to reload if a guard sees me...
  5. Once a lonely little WaS sat and cried. To a sympathetic forum by its side. "I've been studying since 5 in the afternoon. Time to play Dishonored till the crack of noon"

Rhyming "afternoon" with "noon" is pretty n00bish.

  6. I checked my mailbox today to see if by any chance the game was in. It wasn't so I'll have to play it starting wednesday since I have an exam to study for.
  7. I finished Jormungand a week ago. If there are any Seinen fans, it's worth a watch. It isn't the best seinen ever, but it's not bad either. Average I guess is what I'm trying to say. If you liked Black Lagoon it's a decent watch.
  8. Btw Thursday and Ethan, they interviewed Looper's director on io9 and somebody asked your question. His answer is simplistic and clear.
  9. What's with AMC TV shows and easy-to-hate wives? Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Walking Dead. I mean their three biggest shows have it? Too weird to be a coincidence.

I'm on the second season of Mad Men. I'd totally hate fuck Don's wife. She's borderline mentally retarded. but damn if she isn't 60s hot.

Also: apologies for "hate fuck". But seriously now.

I imagine Skyler, Lori and Don's wife get together and vent about their husbands at book club or something.

  10. I might not even get a chance to finish another story-line in RE6 with Dishonored and two exams this week. Shame, I used to have all the time in the world to play games
  11. Yeah I think that might have been the biggest and cheapest shit. Everytime he appeared I was all "JESUS FUCKING CHRIST REALLY?!"
  12. Dishonored is getting very good reviews. Please. If it's between this and a very succesful title, consider this. New IP's, especially of this kind with no fan back-up and only word of mouth to go by, it needs all the help it can get to succeed and get a sequel.

Sweet sweet indie games are good too. But Dishonored deserves your love too. Fuck XCOM. Is it hypocritical? No, it's dishonorable.

Dean: that was a little harsh. I just haven't been following this games development, or watching the trailers.

  13. Yes and no. I wear reading glasses practically the whole day so I can basically read anything that isn't right in front of my face but the second I get home I take them off. And since my tv is right in front of my bed in my room, where I play, I don't need to wear glasses to read subtitties.
  14. The camera is a bit too close for my comfort zone but no, no headaches from me. I assume they put it that close so you can't just see if zombies are coming behind you. You have to listen.
  15. Taken 2. It's not nearly bad as reviews make it out to be, but then again the first taken wasn't exactly loved by critics either. If you enjoyed the first and like Neeson Season, then watch it it is worth your money. The movie is made more enjoyable if you consider the idea that Liam Neeson hates minorities/foreigners.
  16. Eh. Chris' is fine if you do Backstreet Boy Cole's first and get the specific skills of killing those creatures high enough.
  17. Get zombie killer or melee. Or both. I had defense lvl 2 and honestly I don't think it did much. This might be the game where a good defense is a strong offense.
  18. I wouldn't say it's the worst thing in the game. but yeah not a fan. Especially since the only way of getting a big amount of skill points is killing the big guys, and since they're basically bullet sponges, you'll get skill points but be left with no bullets later.
  19. Pretty fucking much. And there really only is like one reason in Leon's campaign where it becomes useful to stay on the ground.
  20. It took me a while to figure out I could dodge in all directions. It was really awkward at first. I found myself wishing for more herbs throughout the game. Especially when zombies take away so much health.
  21. Also, don't hoard fire grenades and remote control bombs for tough single-boss fights. Those are meant for crowd control. Bullets are more precious than fire grenades. I made that mistake early on and during the wave-after-wave attack in many chapters I found myself using guns over these things.
  22. I find it too humorous the guy is white.
  23. Mister Jack: Leon's campaign is notorious for not giving enough ammo, and just wait until you have all the weapons and can't grab much extra because herbs don't stack. Was I ever in the position where I needed more ammo and literally couldn't do shit? Not entirely but I pretty much in some battles in acts 4 and 5. You shouldn't be so low on ammo just yet. I suggest you do melee moves more often. I basically black dynamite'd the whole campaign as Leon except with bloodshots and the fatties.
  24. Not to mention depending on how young the kid is, he might not be mentally developed enough to make his own decision. He could be emulating his parents, just like with religion choice being practically entirely family at a young age.
  25. Oh college football. The place where even if you win, you're not good enough.

    1. TheRevanchist

      TheRevanchist

You need to win big to be big, like the way Oregon handled Washington.
