  1. FFFFFFFFFF I'm about to catch up with Yamato. And the problem is they apparently released these 14 or so episodes as a couple of movies beforehand, and the tv airing just started like the sevent of this month. So if there are no other movies to finish the first season, I'll have to wait till like june or july before the show catches up. edit: nevermind the show is having a really weird format. They're releasing 3 episodes every 3 months for the dvd. I think the TV show might eventually outpace the dvd release, but May 28th the next three episodes will be released. So I have quite the wait till the next set. Shit I swear I need to find one or two shows with a similar format to watch or I'll be anime-less. At least in terms of being able to marathon anime shows I'm interested about. I'll be forced to only watch it on a weekly basis.
  2. I don't think an all-boys cast would solve the problem lol. I enjoy very few slice of life shows. They must either be really well done [Kinds on the Slope] or have enough quirky humor I'll enjoy it [school Rumble]
  3. Let me know what you think of Space Battleship. From what I can gather, the original had a couple of ecchi stuff, which I haven't seen here besides one nurse character who I'm guessing is the staple character for that in the show. Also apparently they pulled a BSG in the sense that the original used to have a male pilot, and the remake transformed the male pilot into a female one. As to the show you posted, that's very well animated and has high production values. I'm sure it's great too. I'm just not very big on all-girl-cast slice of life shows. Like that musical one, or any of those Lucky Star-like shows.
  4. FUCK ME I've found some great animes. One is apparently a remake from an old show. But the comical old-school early anime schtick they might have had got changed. I give to you Space Battleship Yamato 2199 If you're a fan of Battlestar Galactica or Star Trek YOU MOTHERFUCKING OWE IT TO YOURSELF. LIKE FO REALSIES NIGGA. To watch this show. So far there's only 14 episodes aired out of 18 or 20 planned for the first season. But being the huge sci-fi nerd that I am, I am jizzing over how good everything is. It's literally like the two shows mentioned above. A great cast of character. A likable hero. Cool freaking space battleship battles. SCIENCE'N'SHIT. FUCK AAAAAAAAAH I LOVE IT SO MUCH. AND I'VE ONLY SEEN 7 EPISODES. Also another one that just started, outside of Attack on Titan, is called Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet. Very moe. But animation is good. So far we only have three episodes out but I like the animation and the "fish out of water, only the fish whoops ass" story. Give it a watch, you might enjoy it. If you have any idea about any similar anime pleast let me know.

  6. Oh Elizabeth. You were my gaming crush. Then the ending happened. Then I felt wrong. SO WRAAAAAAAAAAAAAUMG
  7. Why is it that the hardcore fans of shit that display it with pride are the ones gross me out from that stuff in general? Like with anime and bronies. At least there's plenty of great anime, but bronies it's a lot of socially-awkward man children.

My Boss is a fan of the Ponies. She's a woman...not sure if it's awkward for her to like it. I guess she's a woman-child? She can be obnoxious. She's always talking about "converting" her b/f. I feel sorry for his soul.

There are always like 1 or 2 women in the group of socially awkward bronies, these are socially awkward women who aren't as socially awkward but like all the attention. Not to say every brony/female fan is like this, but the vocal ones are. And those are the ones giving a bad name to the fanbase.

Now that I think about it... I need to watch season three of MLP. Me and the other bronies here are pretty damn tame. Now some of the ones I know/knew from the club I was in... man. http://i.imgur.com/4ZlbizJ.jpg

  8. I live in the South too, but I happened to have gone to a good school district. Wasn't there a huge shitstorm not too long ago with teachers in some southern states wanting to teach kids that evolution is nothing more than a theory and show them the side of creationism?
  9. Oblivion. It's by no means a bad movie unlike what reviews want you to believe, but it feels like a movie you've seen a thousand times. The 'twists' were predictable if you've ever seen a sci-fi movie in your whole life. Tom Cruise isn't exactly bad or good. He's ok. This whole movie. Is Ok.
  10. This is a problem with our public school system. Whether your kid goes to college effectively a retard entirely depends where you live. These guys must live somewhere in the South in a very christian community. The teacher is clearly a christian-loco. Or it could be a joke and we've all been trolled, but it doesn't seem far from the truth.
  11. Hey check it out we have dinosaur bones dating millions of y- "WERE YOU THERE?!" N-no.. I guess I wasn't. JESUS. FORGIVE ME. I AM THE PRODIGAL SON
  12. Combat was definitely the selling point, seconded by the pawn system. They also had a somewhat Monster Hunter-like armor building portion for certain creature armor.
  13. This is what I do I sit on you I sit on you. SIT SIT SIT ON YOU. THIS IS WHAT I DO. THIS IS WHAT I DO

  15. Strangelove: if I can give you a recommendation, if you plan to play as a ranger (aka daggers and bow), switch class to assassin asap. That class is OP. Also that game is fun as fuck. The story is shitty but the companion management system is fun, climbing on monsters is fun, and everything is just fluid. I quit once you reach the 'post-ending' stuff where all the enemies are OP but since I wasn't an assassin and stayed a ranger everything kicked my ass.
  16. So I've been rewatching the best anime ever, and this song came up and I had to listen to it. It's too fucking beautiful.
  17. Yeah that armored Titan. And now that I've caught up with the manga and know more about the colossal and armored titan, shit is getting good. So do you think tomorrow's episode will be the one dealing with Because if so I might just tell my friends to trust me and wait till next weekend and catch both parts. That'd be a HORRIBLE cliffhanger to leave it in and I don't want to do that to them haha
  18. Watched the first two episodes of Attack on Titan. So far the animation is really empowering the story-telling. Wow. What fucking quality.
  19. The real issue here is we need to kill these people in impoverished areas. Then we lower the amount of illegal drug trade, gang deaths/violence, money they steal from us, crime, unemployment rates and abortions all while doing it with legally purchases weapons. - You've just read an excerpt of Wally's new book 'Mein Statlerampf"
  20. I'm not disagreeing. I'm just really careful about the connotation and significance of using certain words. Not to say you aren't though. Let's just drop it baby.
  21. .... WHEN did I claim I was a troll? I make no more troll comments than the average user. I might make a Jesus joke here or there, but they comprise about 5% of my total posts. And if you had asked "Wally WHY did these people start threatening you" instead of instantly assuming I was trolling and got my just desserts you would've heard "Why FDS. Thank you for asking. You see what happened is that an easily offended Christian or two saw my name and demanded I change it. I told them I was causing no harm and that my comments for the most part don't even have to do with the fact I'm Jesus, and when I do them they aren't mean-spirited they're just meant to be like a gimmick account comment. Most people are fine with it and understand I'm doing no harm, but these specific ones started researching my name due to the facebook glitch and threatened to inform my conservative university that I was making fun of Christian values. I stopped commenting because I wanted it to boil down and remove the ease of finding me online via a google search. Once the problem was fixed I came back." But you didn't. I thought we were past making assumptions in this forum?
  22. Now we're once again returning to guns vs video games after all this chaos. One guy I especially loved in Kotaku said something like "I'm tired of your clear bias against guns, always supporting games" REALLY. A VIDEO GAME BLOG. YA THINK?!
  23. I'm saddened more by comments by citizens and residents of the US. Which boils down to "FUCKING MUSLIMS WE'RE GONNA MURDER YOU"
  24. OH GOD THIS MIGHT BE THE WORST VIDEO ON THE INTERNET. EVER. FUCK YOU SPONGEBOB KID.
