I remember the commercial for the first "Now" album complete with Spice Girls and some other crap. I was astounded that they were up to 42 let alone 81.

So the patcher wouldn't work so I just downloaded the EE version from GOG and uninstalled the old version, I figured that'd be easier for reinstalling later anyway. It seems the revamped lighting and things aren't in the PC version which I find confusing. Eurogamer is confused too. "Update: We've now updated our PC build of The Witcher 2 and note that many of the 360 enhancements - specifically pad support, lighting and visuals - appear to be unchanged based on an initial playthrough of the Prologue. We've approached CD Projekt RED for comment."

I bought it on amazon for dirt cheap. I wanted the GOG version but it never got down to $14 or whatever Amazon had it for. Now i have the GOG version too anyway so no regrets.

And the retail version. Steam version is the only one with DRM. @Ethan: http://www.gog.com/witcher2/backup/ (I linked it, along with a few other bits n bobs) on the previous page. Well, all those other versions have the DRM patched out by the 1.1 patch. The GOG version has no DRM. They said something about it at the presser.

the lighting in the 360 looks better to me. Edit, okay after reading the article the lighting is better because they've redone it for the EE and the comparison shot is not of the EE PC version.

nintendo Used to always have great mario games for launch. virtual boy and gamecube suffered for the lack of a great mario game.

DRM, Online Pass, Project Ten Dollar and the like

When you buy a used game on Amazon it comes with the statement "DLC and preorder bonuses may have been redeemed." Gamestop simply needs a catchall sticker to slap on used games or simply a sign on the door or above the register. Pretty simple really I'd think. The core issue that gamestop got into trouble on I believe is with online pass where they're selling a used game for $55 and the online pass costs $10 so if you want to play online it costs you $65 so essentially they've made a game more expensive and they're advertising that you save money by buying used and I believe the courts found that deceptive. I guess I can see that argument. Also, once again, consumers caveat emptor. -
GFWL is just to make it even more challenging.

The French General goes home and the next day unveils the new French uniforms with brown pants. A Frenchman, a woman and an Englishman are all on a train. The train enters a tunnel, everything goes dark and there is a loud slap. When the train exits the tunnel and there is light the Frenchman is rubbing his cheek in pain. The Frenchman thinks "The Englishman must have tried to kiss the woman and she slapped me on accident". The woman thinks "That Frenchman must have tried to kiss me, got the Englishman and the Englishman slapped him." The Englishman thinks "I can't wait for another tunnel so I can slap that Frenchman again".
