Supposedly Nintendo doesn't have the cash to float the first two unprofitable years like Sony and MS do, also or at least that was their excuse with the Wii but I find it hard to believe anymore since they have everyone's money now.

The whole problem with Nintendo's model is that it keeps them using inferior hardware and as long as there is a large gap in processing power between Nintendo and it's competitors it's going to be at a disadvantage when it comes to third party support (shovelware notwithstanding). Third party publishers like to be able to develop for multiple platforms simultaneously and the WiiU will not be conducive to multiplatform titles if it's far less powerful than the next generation consoles. Additionally, what I think Nintendo is failing to grasp is how the Xbox and PS3 are growing far beyond just games. The social aspects and the media hub aspects have really exploded this generation and I'm not sure if the WiiU correctly addresses those issues but I guess we'll see at E3.

WiiU keeps sounding less and less appetizing.

I did most of the challeneges in AA to the point where I was actually tired of them so I didn't bother doing them in AC. Getting the Achievement for getting every move in a single combo was pretty tough and frustrating.

That would make sense. I am very bored of WW2 games. The setting isn't so much boring as it is tired. Revolutionary games are not very common so hopefully it'll be interesting.

That's pretty asinine that they would force a game to be widescreen on a non-HD system.

Paging usually is an HDD thing regarding virtual memory. HDD may be going bad. BSOD's usually have to do with errors on the HDD also in my experience. Maybe try running a repair on your drive and maybe you will need to replace it before long.

I picked up my copy of Xenoblade Chronicles today. Sucks that I have a major exam in one week. Then my baby is due or going to be induced soon after that so I'm probably not going to get a lot of play time in anytime soon.

It fall under what Ethan said earlier I think about not being able to live near schools and parks and that sort of thing. I think some of those rules are based on the fact that sex crime offender's changes of reoffending are very high so they have extra restrictions on their freedom. Personally I'm okay with this restriction for most purposes.

Well, I was just responding to his quote "Every one of EA's games includes ESRB content descriptors so it's hard to believe anyone is surprised by the content,". Well if you're offended by homosexuality you don't know that it's in the game simply by the ESRB descriptors. That's all I was saying.
