Grabbed it while it was $2.50 on PSN. Grabbed these for $10 total while I was picking up my New 3DS and gave them to my roommate as a gift since he'd mentioned he's cleared his backlog and was looking for something new to play.

As much as I enjoy Miles Morales as Spider-Man, they really need to actually have an established Spider-Man before they can kill him off with it having some kind of impact in-universe and out. Otherwise it'll just bring out a whole lot of people screaming that they're trying to be PC for the sake of it. Will Smith for established black/latino Spider-Man! What I want is a Spider-Man 2099 movie, because Miguel O'Hara is the best Spider-Man.

It's just the DLC, unfortunately.

So far, the most hilarious thing is watching all the typical rubes come out of the woodwork screaming about how Zelda doesn't need to change, Link doesn't need to talk and so on and so forth.

A spoon roast is otherwise known as a top sirloin butt. It looks like a heart because once a day, I must consume a heart of one of my enemies in order to remain immortal.

I'll never understand the babies. It isn't difficult to grasp that movement is entirely based on the player character's perspective. Left turns them to their left. Right turns them to their right. Up makes them advance. Down makes them retreat. So whenever I heard someone praise RE4 for 'doing away with the awful controls', it's just like 'are you serious with this shit?'.

Picked up Resident Evil on the PS4 with that coupon. Sure, I already own the Gamecube version, but I loves me some REmake.

I was happy that I was getting more bang for my buck and I got to switch to Luigi.

Cleared Pandora's Tower (got every ending) and Super Mario 3D Land over the last couple days. I'd thought I finished it months ago, but after finishing World 8, the game blindsided me with eight more worlds to playthrough followed by doing the final level once more.

The combat had an interesting idea to it, but everyone that wasn't Syrenne and Lowell weren't even remotely interesting. I liked the atmosphere and the locations though.

Finished up The Last Story today. As much as I like Hironobu Sakaguchi for being responsible for getting me into RPGs to begin with...TLS was pretty ehhhhhhhhhhh.

Last game I beat was The Last of Us on Tuesday morning. Really enjoyed the experience.

Edit: I got hit pretty hard on Christmas this year. Fortunately, I've played most of these so I don't have to worry about my backlog...too much.

Tried out this recipe for Dragon Noodles. Turned out pretty excellent!

I'm burning through books faster than before now, so I'm gonna have to start buying a bunch of them at a time.

Finished up Folklore over the last few days and it certainly feels like an early generation PS3 game. I dug the presentation, but the characterizations and narrative felt really...disjointed. Voice acting was pretty hit or miss too. Sometimes it was good, other times it was full of slipping accents. Only 11 games left on my backlog to go!

I blitzed through a bunch of stuff on my backlog over the last couple weeks. Yakuza 2 (so I can finally move onto Yakuza 3), Breakdown for the original Xbox, White Knight Chronicles 2, BlazBlue: Chronophantasma (at least, I cleared story mode) and Star Ocean (4): The Last Hope. My self-imposed avoidance of my PS4/Wii U (barring Destiny, since that was a birthday gift from a friend who wanted to co-op) until I finish my backlog of previous generations is certainly working out.
