  1. Shameless Gaming Month and I have been playing...Mass Effect 2. Again. I love this game.
  2. Oh, I totally forgot the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon from 2003. I know it's for children, but it had some damn good stuff as well! And the combination of character types is really quite good from an analytical standpoint.
  3. It's written and directed by Joe from Adam & Joe, who used to do funny little film spoofs using toys. Edgar Wright is a producer, I believe. I dislike those 'from the people who brought you' or 'Quentin Tarantino presents' lines.
  4. Congratulations! This is the stupidest conversation I've seen today.
  5. If you grow out the fringe, you could be Peter Petrelli. That was a compliment, by the way.
  6. http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2012/07/ea-preparing-to-become-100-percent-digital-company/ Fires all staff, puts AI in charge (nobody notices) trolololol
    1. Waldorf and Statler

      Waldorf and Statler

I can't wait for this to bite them in the ass somehow

  7. I thought you said you didn't have anything for the guilty pleasures thread.
  8. I have watched the occasional episode of One Tree Hill while hungover, I think. Ah, Sophia Bush. *swoon*
  9. Exactly. Though I do wish they'd strip away some of the 'layers' as of late.
  10. We'll just put you down for 'pedantry', I think.
  11. I guess you're referring to the newer stuff or, for a lot of Americans, is it because they were in a Twilight film?
  12. I guess a lot of it's subjective, but this is all for fun anyway so... Music-wise, probably MxPx, Paramore's second album and KT Tunstall. Films. Probably old (Cantonese) Jet Li stuff. Story and acting is usually criminal, but the fightwork by Yuen Woo-ping is phenomenal. Twin Warriors is a must-see I guess The Warriors counts as well, since it's a cult film. Television. Chuck and CSIs Miami and Vegas. Games. Prototype? I know a lot of people disliked it.
  13. OMG LOOK ANOTHER ONE http://hor-rate-tio.tumblr.com/post/26288785734/1-17-simple-man
  14. Stumbed across this while looking for the actual track and watched the whole thing because the drums are fucking amazing; whoever transposed it did a good job. Shame it's not official; that game needs more Rx Bandits.
  15. Because the link to one of my picks in the original post died (it was a blend of two different versions anyway) and Chewie loves the attention, I am adding it again. Also, it is one of the greatest pieces of music ever. If you don't agree, I will fight you. That's no lie. Here was the other version if you were interested.
  16. Dude, you said for people to post only two songs each. How much activity did you expect?
  17. Also, the X-Talk name was my idea. You're welcome.

  19. The Guard. Fantastic stuff. I love off-kilter films with smartarse dialogue, and Brendan Gleeson is amazing. Funny that it is by the brother of the director of In Bruges (and starring the aforementioned) because they are similar in tone, but The Guard is sort of...an Irish Western? Better too. Also great to see Tom from Father Ted.
