Ah, the Quad Cities. I'm from Western IA, so I only of them as a stopping point when driving from Iowa to points East along I-80. The Quad Cities are a fairly good place to live, though, if you're into mid-sized cities surrounded by rural America.

My wife works swing shift...so, I'm home by myself an awful lot. But even when she's here, she might play on the PC while I in the living room(hasn't happened in a while, nothing is out that has her attention).

I'm sad that there was no WiiU2. I swear all signs pointed to yes. I'm all seriousness, I'm glad you(tcp) was correct about it coming out this year. That was my favorite announcement at e3. Horizon was a close second with ff7.

Yeah... WTF. Sadly missed the Sony conference. The MS conference was alright, but only a few things interested me. Sony has me all kinds of excited. Guessing game ff7 WI be multiplatform. Just hope they don't screw it up. Don't make it an action rpg... Horizon looks pretty sweet. An open world action game with rpg elements is pretty sweet. I played the first shenmue.. Never got to the Second. Gonna hold back from funding and get it after release. Hope to fuck the next Mass effect is amazing. Looks like they plan to have some amazing planets to explore. Just worried it'll be even more of a shooter...

Everyone is super stoked for the backwards compatibility... But I'm skeptical to see how far they'll go, or how ma y devs says "yes"... But seriously why do they need the devs permission for the disk based compatibility. I still remember many of my Xbox games not transferring over. But besides that I still wanna get an Xbone this winter.

I love the idea of a New Vegas styled spin off of Skyrim. Microsoft: - Mass Effect 4 Exclusive(most likely timed) - Slim Xbox One - Exclusive(timed) DLC for Fallout 4 - Announce a Halo action rpg. - Microsoft announces the Dreamcast 2. An attachment to the Xbox one. Sony: - Exclusive Level 5 unannounced JRPG - Persona 5 footage with date - An RPG-like game for the Morpheus - Playstation Vue television service - The Last Guardian reveled to be outsourced to Phil Fish. Now renamed The Last Fez. Nintendo: - Xenoblade X footage and release date for the West - SMT x Fire Emblem gameplay footage and quarter release for the west - Zelda and release date - PT is coming back and Exlusive to the Wii U. Konami rep will then flip off the audience after announcing the game. Unzip his pants. Pisses on the first row while rambling about gambling machines. - Nintendo NX is just a Konami slot machine. A slot machine you buy and take home with you. Komani will show up at your house monthly to collect. - Nintendo WII U2 is announced. U2 performance after announcement.

Yeah, I think it's the same engine. Just glad no one here is trying to say the game looks WORSE than Red Dead Redemption and/or other open-world last gen games.

Like I said in my status...they better pump up their support team(Gabe said they plan to in his AMA thread on reddit...but I'm pretty sure he has said that in the past before...). They also said they don't consider getting a refund and immediately buying the game again because it's on sale [as abuse].

Wow...steam just included an awesome refund policy...I really applaud them for finally pulling their head out of their asses

Sounds somewhat reasonable. Though, some problems won't show up until many hours of play.

^At that point you could argue it's not worthy of a refund. "I drove this car for years and now it's falling apart. Give me back all of my money!"
Plus, there's short games to consider.

Good points MaliciousH, but they do say they'll take things passed two hours into consideration....but yeah...if they get a response AND IF they will actually be reasonable with games that become more than unplayable passed two hours. A little pessimistic, but I'll keep an open mind.

Does anyone know if you'll be able to reinstall windows 10 at your leisure if you get the "free upgrade" ? Edited to add: I also have the user folder redirected to a another internal hard drive...I'd hope the upgrade will be able to leave that as it is, right? Also like that win 7 pro gets win 10 pro. Really fair, MS.

So...due for a phone upgrade, and leaning on getting an Sony Xperia z3v(99 cents at verizon plus the contract)...but the z4(or "z3+) was announced. Or I could get the S6....

Apparently the Z3v is super locked down compared to the other Z3s and it has the body style of the Z2. I don't know how they lock down the S6 but I've played with it and is a nice fine if you're going for something that large.

Hmmm thanks. Might try rooting the s6 in order to try remote. That and the s6 has a better cpu i read.
