Some on the net are losing their God Damned minds over this announcement...thinking they should be free because they are "technically DLC." Those who think that have to be too young to remember when expansion packs, with more content than a simple map pack/horse armor, was the norm.

So...father Father Gascoigne. Didn't use the Music Box because I ran into the area without knowing I was about to fight him...and just didn't have the damn item equipped and was waaaaay to skiddish to try and and use it. What the hell does it do anyhow? Well, beat him. Used almost 20 potions doing so. I ended up fighting him before the first "primer" boss...because I went right past it. But when I went back to fight it, that fight turned out worse than Father G. Guess with the Father there was more space to run around in and catch him off guard. So, now I'm grinding blood echoes to gain a few levels.

Pillars of Eternity is soooo goooood! Better than I expected...mostly because I've been burying my head in the sand when it comes to details about the game. So glad I threw money at them. Hoping Torment is just as if not better(due to the sci-fi-ish fantasy setting)!

PoE is goddam fantastic. It's better than the old Infinity Engine games in many ways. It's exactly what I wanted.

Bahahaha! Wow...just wow. Even Sony has issues with Sony's network. Can't send my ps4 in because they can't connect to their billing department and process payments. The operators sound as confused as I do when I enter my information on the playstation and it's like NOPE. C'mon Sony...

Wait....isn't Nintendo doing great with the 3DS? If the phone/new hardware fails...can't they just rely on a new portable. Or will everyone just want to game on their phone. Ugh bleak future.

-sigh- still haven't gotten my ps4 bluray drive fixed. got a new drive...put my old logic board on it(I guess as a way sony has more control over what you do with your system.) should have sent it to Sony from the begining . Now I'm out 65 bucks. plus 150 when I send it to Sony. Damnit...

I don't know why I always forget about Sega publishing the Total war series. Though...I've only bought the game when they were on sale(They are really, really, really buggy at release it seems). I was more worried at first because I thought it affected Atlus...but that is Sega Sammy something or other lol So, if you wanna go PC only/Mobile then..cool?

It's only with a few games that will have the ghosting effect even if I don't move/screen is corrected. I never had much issues with the games you mentioned either(haven't played MH4). It seems it's more apparent in really, really dark areas/games. http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/359/~/ghosting%2Fdouble-image-on-upper-screen "However, scenes that display extremely high-contrast visuals (for example, if a bright object is displayed on a dark background) can make the lack of complete image isolation more noticeable. Under such conditions, there is a possibility that a faint ghosting (doubled image) may be visible." And SMT IV has quite a bit of the "high-contrast visuals"...though, like I said, it's a huge deal. Just can throw me out of the game in places where it has a very, very dark background with something bright in the middle. With all my nitpicking/complaining said...I love my New 3DS..and yeah, I feel the same way about the speakers. Really a great upgrade...and CAN NOT WAIT for Xenoblade to release )))!

It's when the contrast levels causes the 3D to not work properly..and you get part of the 3D image repeated on both sides. That's an example. Granted..it doesn't happen in every game...but there are parts of certain games(SMT IV. Especially noticeable in the title screen) when it happens 100% of the time.

The 3D is much better...but I hate the damn ghosting effect. Not sure how they could fix that except to totally change the way they are creating the 3D effect. Maybe 3DS2 will have more advanced 3D.

Just got my SMT Strange Journey copy on ebay from a guy from Canada. The wrapping looked like a resealed...and the ds cart itself looked like the gold pins have been used(light scratches from inserting a bunch of times?) Not 100% sure....I mean, it was still a decent deal(23 bucks with shipping).

I noted a new cartridge's pins looked scratched once so I checked on other new ones and they were all the same. Can't comment on the wrapper though.

Nooooooooooooo! God damnit touchscreen only phones! Maybe twenty years from now well be mostly gaming on phones that are connected to servers like PS now and...shit what was that other service... Anyway...fuck. Though...don't remember the last Sega game I bought.

Bought SMT Strange Journey. Also bought Dragon Quest Monster Joker 1 & 2. Saw the two Joker games at game stop for real cheap...20 bucks tax included for both Had an issue where the first Joker game had issues being reconigzed by my 3ds. If I put it in a couple times and Evey other time it wouldn't pop up. And it would make my DS lite freeze for some odd reason. Took some can air and blue all over it...as well as took the shitty GameStop sticker off the pack with some nail polish removal. Ugh fucker. Finally worked with zero issues! That's what I love about Nintendo...they make some sturdy ass products that haven't cause me many issues. Besides having to do a few easy fixes...unlike my other consoles...-glares at the ps2, 360, and ps4-(I know some rarely had their ps2 break.) Plan to get the last two ps2 smt games I need...the devil summoner games.
