Well thanks! Lol I'll prepare myself now to schedule in a replay. Reminds me of persona 4(though this seems more vague) where you had a low chance of knowing you had to do xyz for the best ending.

That's why my hope(maybe fantasy since they love the 3DS so much. Not that'll shy away from future smt games on the 3DS using smt iv assets!) Is spin offs from P5. Which probably won't happen. But some more smt games on the 3DS using SMT IV as their backbone would be sweet. I'd LOVE for them to take advantage of the NEW 3DS processor speed boost. Wish I could make a clone of me to play all these games... Back to SMT IV...I was doing a few quests...assuming they were part of the main quests, but found out they were side quests...guess my need to finish as much in one area as possible paid off. Also, got into a quest dealing with Preliminary tournament battles...and I was given a choice at the and if each battle...does that affect my karma/alignment? I just chose what I thought would be chaos/law every other match. Read one tip online on how to get a guaranteed neutral alignment and I'd have to restart and follow all their choices...if I have to I'll come back to SMT IV after smt strange journey and p5(it'll probably take me that long to finish strange journey lol) Man, I could stick with just atlus games and be content! A side note...I hate how the contrast on the 3ds affects the 3d...in lighter parts I see ghost/sides of objects interfering with the 3d. Not a biiigggg issue but can be annoying. Wonder if the 3DS 2(4DS! Smellovision!) Will have a new 3d tech(just hope it is back words compatible like their previous consoles/handhelds have been

Thanks for the tips! Worries I may not get the neutral ending...wonder if I should save where I'm at(ikeburu? Something? Sorry lol) and see if I'll need to load it back up and try again. Been doing the challenge quests. Love running around Tokyo. And please God, no! Mobile phones? For a game like SMT? I am hopeful atlus will at least develop spin offs of SMT on the consoles...maybe something as grand as Strange Journey or Digital Devil Saga? Repeat the greatness of the Jrpg days of the ps2 era. But if they focus on vita/3Ds of psp-vita3/NEW new NEW 3Ds-4Ds(ha!) I'll still be happy. Oh BTW I bought strange journey and plan to dive into that once I beat SMT IV( or at least get to one ending).

Well, I jumped back into SMT IV recently...I had just gotten to Tokyo and I'm addicted to it now/again. Getting to Tokyo from Naraku was pretty sweet...and I'm expecting some kind of conspiracy between the leaders up above and the shit that hit the fan down below(at least that's my theory right now). I'm kind of worried about what "ending" I'll get...read that your choices throughout lead to either Law/order or chaos? Not sure if I'll get the chance to play through it again. Hoping I can get through this game before Xenoblade Chronicles comes out. Exploring Tokyo can be a bit confusing...and sometimes annoying when trying to find where to go...and ending up in dead ends, but it becomes satisfying once I finally get where I need to be. My new XL 3DS also makes the game that more lovely to play... Wonder if SMT V will be on the ps3/4 or if that'll just make it portable agian.

Honestly, maybe deep in the recesses of my subconscious, I probably rushed to buy the "new" Nintendo 3DS due to it selling out everywhere and with every version(that and seeing as I was upgrading from regular to XL seemed awesome enough). Maybe this is a dumb question....but why not have pre-orders on their site/others and perhaps do one or two more waves of a "special" edition console? I would think Nintendo could make some good bank from doing that. Hell, mark it up an extra 50-100 bucks. I'd much rather spend that much more instead of the 200 or so hundred more on Ebay. Then again...sure the scalpers would still swoop in and grab more. And it would take away the "special edition" feeling those who were quick to grab the console. Since Nintendo has such a reputation of not sending out a lot of whatever product...they continue to sell 100% of it. Though..like others have said, why not raise it up a bit more to respond to that reputation?(and maybe that have?)

Oh God....I'm glad I waited to get a 3DS XL....because the jump from my original 3DS to ""'"****NEW*****"""" 3DS XL is pretty great. Love the 3D head tracking. A hell of a lot better than trying to maneuver "eye connection" with the old console. They were sold out of both the red and the black ones in my town...thankfully, in the next town over they had several. It was a Wal-Mart in a very affluent and old(mostly retired folks) town. It's actually one of the top retirements places in Alabama(and the country someone told me. But probably in the top 50 if I was a to guess. If not 100). Anyway...got it. On Valentine's Day. Had to leave my wife at home. Took some persuading, but thankfully she wanted to take a nap. She's gonna be glad I went once she plays Majora's Mask on it Wish I would have preordered the Majora's Mask 3ds when I had the chance a while back. Like everyone else heh. I would love if Nintendo just surprised everyone and threw a bunch of the MM and MonHUNT consoles out next week to fuck with the scalpers. Doubt it'd happen. As far as transferring my shit over to it...Not as painful as I thought it was going to be. Mostly because I kinda went through the same thing with my wii to Wii U transfer. Pikman and all. HOWEVER...fuck! The back-plate was a pain, mostly because I was afraid i'd fuck it up(I did end up chipping some of the red pain...but it's tiny. Still pisses me off). It feels like I'm gonna snap it in half every time I take it off. The screws don't give much feedback except a "click" that alerts you that it's ready to take it off. Found out you can play a game on multiple 3DS' but...of course you'd have to rebuy all the DLC if you wanted to play on multiple 3DS systems. When I plug SMT IV in the old 3DS my white samurai armor disappears(along with the other dlc quests etc) then they reappear when I put it in the new system. Guess I'll have to do without when my wife takes Big Red to work on night shift.

Perhaps though who thought it "made you think" haven't seen many postApoc movies.... I guess you could think about how desperate you'd become, but like you said...not much is new to that. @ethan Totally agree.

Sounds great. I was one of the rare breeds out there that loved Dead Island...but I saw through the BS and bugs and saw potential. From the sounds of it, it seems they finally fucking got it right. Now...wonder what they are going to do with Dead island 2....and why didn't they just combine these games??

Ok...yes. I got into Tokyo...haven't played in a couple of months. I really need someone to yell at me to get back into a game more often. Actually been playing Pokemon... >.> I guess I'll switch gears again. lol

Yeah, I'm excited about XBC on the new 3ds...and I played most of it on the wii. Loved that game. And the sites I go to primarily now are : Dualshockers, Techraptor, Niche Gamer, and siliconera.

Well, I haven't been on the site forever...but for at least a year they have done a wide range of video game news...but there seems to be more Sony fanboys(with a few "XBOXRULESYOUALLSUCK" people as well). I tend to ignore the comments.

Many seem to think we will be fighting "Demons" ala SMT(and the older Personas right?) instead of Shadows this time around. Personally, I'll have it either way. Also, hope(as it looks) it'll be darker than P4(and maybe even 3?)....While I adored P4(G) P3 is slightly better story-wise in my book. But again, slightly. Hope there are large, open areas that seem to be hinted at in the trailer(could be wrong.)
