That's really fucked up. Have you read the Times article about health care costs here in the States? There really needs to be something done about the drastic leaps in health care costs across the country... Kinda scary you haven't had it investigated further. Hopefully it doesn't happen again/you'll be able to look into it further down the road...

I have massive chronic pain due to a dislodged/herniated disc with "hints" of possible arthritic advances or what not. Recently had surgery 6 months ago, no dice(along with several epidurals). Recently have been sent to a PM office. Was put on a relatively new drug Nucynta(made around 08 or 09 I believe). Had a horrible two days, Finally broke down and had my wife call my doc after feeling anxious, in pain, sick, ill, etc etc. Just wanted some bedside manner relief. She Called around 620pm last night. Not too late...but the doc would have been "off the clock"(even though a doc would be on call). She first had to go through an answering service. "Is this an emergency?" They ask. My wife went on to say what was wrong, how she was scared, etc etc. Finally a doc called back, and didn't seem too happy. "First of all, use this line ONLY for emergencies. Tell him to stop taking the drug and I'll have his PA call him tomorrow." If it was a "true" emergency. If I was having a heart attack, I think I'd call 911...not some answering service to get permission to call 911. I kinda felt like shit that I broke down and called the doc after experiencing so many side effects, but it did feel like an emergency for me... Any fellow stories you'd like to share?

Exactly...all the research I've done agrees with that statement. But...I got a letter, and the check, where they say, "We can't take it." So...as long as I have the proof in case they change their mind... God, the IRS is such a clusterfuck of an organization.

Yep...I don't know all the ins and outs. We finnally got the certain from the estate executive people. So we took that form and redid the taxes from a few years back. They said, "The law says we can't take your money after so many years from when it was due"......but then others said, "They can take it whenever" Not sure if they took pity on us for taking the initiative to pay them...or what.

Personally I have yet to play more than an hour of it. I have it on my phone right now....will get to it within the next decade.

A few months ago the wife and I, for the first time, had to actually pay someone to help us with our taxes. Found out that we supposedly owed a large chunk of money. The wife got some inheritance, but never got a certain form with it in order to report it...or something. Anywho, we found out that it was three years late(not according to the IRS, but to the person we hired.) We sent off the updated tax year...along with the check. Recently, we received a letter, and a check, in the mail. Supposedly, according to this agent, the IRS can't come take money from backtaxes after three years. Even though the person we paid said otherwise, and many articles I've read online that agree with our agent. Part of me is glad...but another has to ask...what if someone else looked over the form/check we sent in? Shit like this is why people get frustrated with the IRS.... Anyone have, and want to share, their IRS horror/non-horror stories?

Just beat Ni No Kuni. Just a bit over 70hrs. Beat all the sidequests right up to the end of the main quest. It was the most fun I've had with a Jrpg in a while. Hope to see a spirtual successor in the near future. Loved the whole "pokemon/familiar" thing. Story....eh....could have been better. A fuckton of a lot better.

I saw that too. He raved on and one about how MS had the better games, right? And how his opinion is "fact." Whenever you find yourself in an argument with someone where you are trying to defend whatever you said as a fact...and that "fact" isn't in a dictionary/encyclopedia, it's time to take a break.

I don't see why they can't still have the "family sharing" with their digital storefront. For fuck's sake...if the "infrastructure" was/is there...enable it for the digital side of things. That way...it would entice people to maybe, maybe, start to see the positives of digital-only for games. Also, don't shut off the 360 side of things until a couple of decades down the road.(Edit: Or, until no one is using it.)

Wow...I'm totally lost. Last I checked...there are no "Trans" parts....you identify as a male/female. And,yes, I understand that is your "Gender"....so, if a game focuses on "female" masterbation...isn't it obvious it'll be talking about vaginal masturbation? And why is that bad? Should the game have been called "Vagina" masturbation? I suppose I should keep my mouth shut as well since I'm a white "cis" male. I'll reopen it in the year 2040-2050 when I'm in the minority for the "first" time in "ever."
