At the house after being in a hospital for nearly 6 hours...right leg kinda numb. pain up there...hope gets better soon. surger is called microdisectomy...i think.. THANKS For your positive thoughts guys!

I got down to 189(from 240) right before my wedding. Now I'm about 200-204. Want to try to lose another 30 or so pounds. That's the biggie. Not really due to body image...more for health/back issues. So... 1.) weight loss 2.) New friends/keep in touch more often with current friends 3.) Keep up with exercise to help my back 4.) Try to lay off, if not entirely quit taking, lortabs 5.) Find a better job...or at least get more hours at current job 6.) Get a house with the wife.

The seagate(s) have lasted longer than all the other WDs. When I say decade...I mean I got my first WD...failed after 2-3 years...bought another...repeat...repeat. I won't say ALL WDs suck ass...but I am one unlucky sonnabitch when it comes to WDs...my seagates on the other hand have never failed. Though...I will admit...I use my WDs the most for heavy reading/writing...

Temp is now 30ish degree C during idle. Sweet...guess it was just me being too much of a dandy. On another note... I hate Western Digital hdds...I've had 3 fail on me in the past decade... While my seagates keep on chugging.

My bmw still hasn't arrived yet. Tried calling my local delership. They didn't know what the hell I was talking about. I'm frustrated...at the very least.

Installed a new motherboard/cpu last night. Might have done something stupid....I placed the cooler on the heatsink...tried to snap it down...freaked out after looking at the cooler instructions that i may have forgot to open/close something on the cpu(if I had a FM1 socket...I have FM2). Ripped the cooler off as gently as I could...saw that I put the cpu in correctly. The paste was smudged on cpu and cooler. Put cooler back on as carefully as I could. Hoping the paste will work correctly after fucking with it by taking the cooler off. Started it up and Bios says Idle is at 42C...worried that my taking it off and putting it back on may have consequences down the line Ugh. Also, didn't realize my new mobo has NO IDE connectors...so both my dvd drives are outdated...going to bestbuy to pick up a sata DVD drive after work today so I can reinstall windows 7. Hope my rambling made sense... Not really asking a question. Just sharing basically. Feel free to reassure me that everything is ok, or let me know my cpu may blow up down the road.

My understanding is that with FTL there is no being "good" at it, there's only "bad" and "really bad".

Yeah, there's a lot of luck involved with success.
Easy mode isn't that bad, though. Tried once to learn the game and jumped to normal and met with repeated failures. First time I decided to try easy again, I made it to the final boss.

I went straight to Easy...played about 45mins. Died twice. Paused alot...tried to go to as many point as possible. Feel this game will be like Dark Souls(though with more luck involved) with trial and error.)
Thinking about installing the "no rebel encroaching" mod or whatnot.
Really enjoyed my ~hour of the game...love the fact that your crew levels up with whatever they are doing the most.

Got a new motherboard and CPU for xmas. Upgrading from a 2.6 Quad Core AMD Phenom II X4 to a AMD A10-5800K APU Quad Core 3.8Ghz. Probably won't be using the "GPU" part of it(forgive me if I'm using the wrong terminology) as I'm pretty sure my 550Ti is a tad bit better than the graphic processing power. But I want to go with a motherboard that has the APU/FM2 potential to future proof my PC for a few more years. (ASUS AMD A85X motherboard) So...E-peen stat format. Asus AMD A85x motherboard A10-5800K AMD APU 3.8 Quad Zotac AMP! 550ti Nvidia 750Watt Apevia ATX 12GB RAM(Using two different sets...honestly don't know what they are off the top of my head...three years old..still kicking). 90GB SSD(with primarily Win7 OS) 1TB Internal Western Digitial(That is currently giving me issues.) 1TB WD External(working like champ for 3 years). 250GB Seagate External(Working for over 5 years.)

I think you are more than fine at just a beer a day. I'd start worrying at around 6 a day

I think the reason behind that is that most, not all, have the idea that women are weak. To get past this...think of them as a man and just swap the gender. Not saying women ARE weak...but society likes to say/think they are. By getting past your own bias(that you may or may not even realize you have)...write it as a man and swap it. I personally think a woman can be/act just as tough as a man in situations. So yes...the idea that "man" equals strong is beyond silly. But society still does, and probably will for a while, have deep seeded biases.

The game I wanted the most was given to me from Saturnine! The Witcher 2! He also was kind enough to gift me two DLC packs to Dungeons of Dredmor! Thanks alot man! YAY!
