Yep. Totally agree. Just like EA is supposedly trying to fix their rep thanks to consumer complaints, this is another "Win" as far as illustrating that, yes, we can make a difference. Pretty big fucking deal that they went from, "We can't change it! It's already done! You aren't part of the fucking dev team you twat!(like with the AJ interview)." to "Oh....sorry?"

While I'm kinda happy they dropped this nonsense(maybe I'll get one in two years). I think I'm still going with the ps4 for my console needs. So PS4/PC(and perhaps Wii U too). It still is 100 dollars more expensive, supposedly less powerful than the ps4, and has the fucking kinect forced on us.

I don't know if it's new...but "Major" nelson back-stepped on the DRM. Basically said, "If certain publishers don't want the it[referring to AJ saying some publishers don't want DRM] we will certainly work with them" The fuck?

Just watched Cloud Atlas...I'm so disappointed. Most critics didn't like it...seems like it has many people who love it(and those same people think they are in the minority of loving it). Did I "hate" it? No. I've just seen several "eternal/second life" movies that effected my emotions.

I would say that they would need multiple movies is the main issue. It's a gigantic fucking book. Translating 6 storylines into a single movie isn't exactly easy.

Wow...that's pretty sweet. I know it is probably sacrilege...but I may make the ps4 my MMO home instead of my PC(Sorry Master Race. Wife won't be too keen in having my monstrous Tower in the living room).

I guess it's more of a "I want it to bomb as its DRM restrictions are unprecedented...worse than any other device" If I'm going to be serious, and set aside my bias, I suppose second place seems more realistic.Though...the way they are treating the Asian markets, and how(supposedly) pro-consumer other parts of Europe(besides the UK) is...maybe third? Time will tell...I am more fearful that come 5-10 years from now online check ins will become the norm. Even second place may send a signal to Sony/Ninty that taking total control of their console may not be a bad idea.

I'm just saying...I don't think the ps3 can thank its success solely on the fact that it was "superior." I don't think the Xbone(if it succeeds) will do so because it does things a roku/apple tv/etc can do for cheaper. But...I'm no market expert, so who the hell knows.

Didn't people think the same about the ps3 with its higher price tag? It also was more "high tech" with its innards. Especially the Blu Ray player...Though wasn't a media "powerhouse" Didn't really start catching up to the 360 till some price cuts were arranged.

There is this article however...that claims the "cloud" could make physics/lighting.
