I'm having trouble with that last part. What do those characters have to do with the rest of your post?

To be fair, Marvel Studios has only done Iron Man 1 & 2 and The Hulk so far. All of which I thought were entertaining. The rest was all done by Columbia and Fox - which ranged from good (X-Men 1 & 2, Spider-Man) to terrible (X-Men 3, Elektra, Ghost Rider). And I'm still waiting for a good Punisher movie... Also, Batman is a very different beast from any of Marvel's properties (unless they suddenly decided to do a Moonknight movie, which would fucking rock). A 'realistic' Spider-Man for instance just wouldn't work. They tried that with the Green Goblin in the first movie, and I thought that was the weakest point. Another example is the Fantastic Four. The comics are all about crazy out-of-this-world sci-fi, but the movies tried to make it all 'plausible' (see: Galactus). They should just go all out and come up with the craziest stuff. Let's hope the reboot gets it right.

Yeah, the Avengers stuff was cool. But I felt they had to rush through all the other stuff just to be able to fit everything in. It was very unsatisfying to me. Yeah, the trailer shows how they tried to get around it by saying 'magic = science misunderstood'. We'll see if that works. That robot-ish villain is The Destroyer, by the way. I don't know much about him, though.

I have curls, though. So it usually just looks like it's supposed to be this way. Not much you can do with it except cut it off.
