oh I missed that! Nice! Been thinking of updating my TV (46" LCD 120 hz, about 4 years old), probably next year and moving my current into our newly established basement. I'm skipping 3D and looking strictly at traditional LED tvs though

Major Nelson stepped in, apparently had a phone chat with the guy. The console ban will be lifted prior to launch, they laid out ground rules on what he can and cannot disclose and has been invited to the launch event. Twitter is amazing.

anyone keep up with the MoonlightSwami twitter fiasco? This guy preorders an xbox one from Target. They ship it to him early. Obviously, he's excited. Posts an unboxing video. Pictures, download size details, answers questions, even times how long it takes to boot to dash. Downloads the day one drm removal update.Then Microsoft strikes his YT videos, and bans his console. The rational person in me hopes that this is reversed come launch day, otherwise this is horrible treatment by Microsoft. He didn't sign an NDA. He got his console, if MS has an issue with anyone it should be Target. man I'd much rather have MGR, got Remember ME on 360,and I bought both those Vita games. gah, that's the bad part of PS+, makes me hesitant to actually buy games.

Oh he'd be able to see it, case is a corsair 600t with a panel window (which is a really nice case, btw). Since there were a bunch of issues I should have suggested a swap in payment, lol. My 570 would be such an improvement from his 9800GTX he wouldn't notice.

GTX 570 is a very good card. Mine hasn't let me down yet.

Tomb Raider is the first game I've had that's really stressed the card. Overall I'm happy enough with it not to be willing to spend the 300 dollars on an upgrade. I've thought about finding a second one on ebay for ~100.

The higher your level, the higher your chances are of getting one. From what I understand, they are generated when people craft badges. Not sure if one badge crafted generates only a single pack, though.
I've been getting them more frequently the past few weeks. Got one earlier today, actually. Think I'm sitting on 3 atm. Should probably get around to listing them on the market.

Once the global supply of cards for that game has depleted through people converting them to badges and such you can then unlock boosters next time you play.

starting a second playthrough for "duo" (really I'm just switching back and forth between controllers) I'm amazed at the amount of stuff I missed / circumvented my first play, much like the article HH posted. Some of it I knew but others are a surprise to me. I guess I didn't fully finish "condenser" properly the first time around, that's a pretty good "scary" level.

I'm going to reply to FLD here, because I think it's more OT here than the Batman thread: You might enjoy his show Jimquisition, then. New episodes are posted on The Escapist first but there's a ton of them on youtube. It's mostly him commenting on current affairs related to the games industry. Like I said earlier in the thread, Sterling and I aren't really on the same page when it comes to game reviews. But he's usually spot-on on Jimquisition. I started watching the show a couple months ago and it's made me gain a lot of respect for the man. On a semi-related note, it seems he left Destructoid today. This soon after the Arkham Origins reviews, it's hard not to wonder if there isn't some kind of correlation, however small. Yeah I've been meaning to check those out. And he said there's no correlation between the AO review, and he's still got one more coming for Dtoid before he officially leaves: COD Ghosts. That oughtta be a hoot.

Has anyone tried using the Beyond app to control the game? I'm thinking about maybe doing a second playthrough with it to get the achievement for playing the whole game in co op. What endings did people do? I screwed up getting the gold trophy for saving everyone who can I really liked Heavy Rain despite the PLOTHOLES PLOTHOLES PLOTHOLES and this games is much better than HR.

Finished Beyond Two Souls last night. For the longest time I thought something felt missing... then it finally froze my PS3. Ah, that's better. One freeze is better than the multiple I had with Heavy Rain. Quantic Dream: excruciating load times and frozen systems.
