  1. I had my cpu OC'd from 2.66 to 3.2, now its at 3.0. Overclocking can be scary stuff, and it varies from system to system. What cpu / motherboard do you have?
  2. aaaaaaaaaaaaand here's Johnny Storm as Steve Rogers aka Captain America.
  3. The new system is pretty sweet sounding... constellations for skills / magic, look at the ground and it zooms out into your map... also; Perks. yes. Levels up to 50 at least, if you have a few "main" skills (ie high ranks / concentration in that area) you will level faster. New AI for monsters / creatures you find out and about, they just don't run up and attack you immediately now. Neat little thing about AI in towns too; they discussed like dropping an item in town, and three scenarios with it-- it can lie there forgotten, a small child will bring it to you asking if you dropped it, two individuals end up fighting over it. Discussions with NPCs won't result in a zoomed up dialogue with them, camera will be panned back; they will continue doing what they are doing while talking to you, or at least act naturally. info on sidequests / developments / etc can be heard in the ambient conversations, and automatically logged into your journal
  4. from what I've encountered so far with brotherhood, its all the same voices.
  5. true. but to put that quote in context, they were discussing the menu system, and they acknowledged it was rather clunky in Oblivion / Morrowind.
  6. http://twitter.com/#!/staySICK/status/25690356150435840 "it'd be a bloated, slow mess?"
  7. oops, didn't change my filing status in time. Oh well. $$$$$

      175? I meant $75 lol.

  8. My copy of GI came in today. This game just leaped in terms of my anticipation. Wow. It's like they heard the complaints coming from Dragon Age II and aimed to fill that gap. One worrisome quote to me though: "one of our goals was, 'what if Apple made a fantasy game?'" yikes.
  9. Infinite Identity Crisis of Infinite Worlds and Identities. Part 1 of 52.
  10. *insert waaah Crysis 2 console dev screws over PC comment*
  11. The return of Hal Jordan, does a great job of telling the backstory in the process. And Geoff Johns is outstanding. "Geoff Johns can write the phone book and make it hot."
  12. I've been meaning to see 500 days of summer. I really like Joseph Gordon-Levitt
  13. Totes prefer the 360 version, which is sad because I'm getting it for PS3* *pending NA release / importability by English speakers
  14. The FMA dubs are great. I love the care they give to it; even the aftereffects they give to Alphonse; his voice resonating from the empty armor.
  15. I'm not really like what I'm seeing thus far. I like that they are going back to high school and setting it with Gwen. On paper it almost sounds like a movie live action version of the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon that was fan-freaking-tastic. If you haven't seen it, rectify that asap. But the casting and images seen so far... meh. The only thing I know Andrew Garfield from is The Social Network.
  16. gah crap work sucks.

  17. I really enjoy Dragon Age Origins. The changes to DA2 are huge deal breakers to me.
  18. wife's birthday presents -- got them for about 20 each, too. Video/music store in our mall is going out of business.
  19. I'm sorely tempted to just say "fuck this game. fuck it right in the ear." but I'm going to at least say I'm not buying it, at least for a good while. I may find a way to try it out, and if I like it, wait for this years holiday steam sale and pick it up then, possibly. Like Dean said, there's a fair amount of actual WRPGS coming down the pipe I won't feel like I'm missing out if I skip DA2
