I got it, TFG, and I thought it was funny. Not gonna pre-order FO4. I was so badly burned by Arkham Knight that I'm holding off on preordering altogether (even though my AK preorder was free with my new laptop).

Some of those words are used in American English varieties, too. "Takin' a gander," and "flummox" just sound folksy to us over here, and I'm mildly surprised those words/phrases aren't American in origin.

I think it's likely they will launch next year and that the NX will play Wii U games, even Wii U digital titles (although the odds are even on whether you'll have to re-buy SNES, NES, and N64 digital titles you may have already bought for the Wii U).

Hey, a lot of people liked ZombiU a lot. But the critics didn't. And it didn't sell. Still, I'd be interested but only if I didn't have Dying Light - Hard mode giving me my sweet zombie survival crack atm

I know a lot of people liked it, but what I was trying to say is it seemed like the main reason people liked it was that the tablet aspect provided something new that made it different from other zombie games.

Not sure about that. I played it for three or four hours one time, and if you had removed the tablet, it would still have stood well as an interesting zombie survival game. It's almost like a zombie apocalypse roguelike. Really interesting to play. The tablet was nice but not the crux of the thing

Backed up my personal data that wasn't already backed up (mostly game saves, as I copy my real documents over to a backup drive once a week), and also making sure that my 3rd party peripherals have W10-compatible drivers. There's not much else I can do, especially with my lappy. My work setup isn't changing anytime soon; I'm running W7 there, now.

I'd give it 20/80 in favor of cross-gen, I guess. I wonder if it will be much different on the NX than on the Wii U. Was Twilight Princess significantly different on Wii compared to the Gamecube version, aside from the whole mirrorworld thing.

One really dumb thing about WifiSense is that it requires you to change the SSID of your network to opt out of WifiSense discovery; tons of folks have ISP-provided routers that do not allow the user to change the SSID.

Then you give your friend access only via WifiSense. Not that hard to deal with at all.

I like the Arkham games' Joker except that I never bought into Joker injecting himself with TITAN. It seems to me that Joker wouldn't mutate himself like that.

Yeah, I also use my laptop to mess around but I switched it to Linux about a year ago.
I still have the Win 7 OEM key that came with it, though. I'm kinda tempted to dual boot and try to upgrade from it. Just need to find my Win 7 install disk...

I upgraded to RTM a while back, not really had any driver issues. Though not played PC games since I picked up PS4 to test out DS4.

No matter how shitty a thing is, there will be at least some people who expect it, like it, enjoy it, advocate for it, are willing to die for it. You could pull a True Scotsman fallacy and just claim to speak for the sane or real fans, though, TCP.

I think the theory makes sense to me because the original Joker should be Batman's age, roughly (though, yes, the Burton Batman Joker was much older), so a second Joker who was Jason Todd makes the age discrepancy make more sense. Edit: Nevermind; Afleck is actually younger than Leto. I guess Leto just looks young, to me. I think this makes it more likely Leto is playing the original Joker. But I have no idea whether the rumor is true. I also assume that BvS and Suicide Squad do not take place in the Nolanverse.

Trainwreck. Saw it with my wife, who is a huge Amy Schumer fan. The movie is just your middle-of-the-road Apatovian Rom-Com with Schumer playing the typical male role of a person in their early 30's who covers up their loneliness and depression with a chaotic and sexually free life when really they just want to have a conventional monogamous relationship with marriage and kids. There are some funny moments, but it was way too shaggy and inconsistent, like the vast majority of Apatow's work. Also like the rest of Apatow's work, it uses weakly transgressive elements (drug use that is not presented as particularly damaging, a female protagonist who enjoys casual sex) to tell a very conventional love story.

There are some things I really liked about The Incredible Hulk, but I freely admit that it's not very good. At the moment, I feel like I enjoyed it more than I did the movies I ranked below it. On my list, the huge drop-off is after Thor 2; Avengers 2 through Thor 2 on my list are roughly equal in quality, in my opinion. I enjoyed every one of the movies on the list up through Thor 2; the ones below that I did not enjoy much at all. Oddly, one of the only things I liked about Iron Man 2 was the Mandarin fakeout. It's just that the rest was so dull.

Dipshits like Trump have support because much of America is populated by dipshits. The water bill is a Trojan Horse and would not be much help at all and would unnecessarily harm fisheries. The GOP likes it because certain provisions of no real use to water-hungry California would further disempower the EPA. I'm not certain much can be done at the federal level to really help California in the short term, to be fair. The drought is a byproduct of human short-sighted water policies throughout the Southwest over the past century, global climate change, and bad luck. It's tough to unfuck yourself once you've been thoroughly fucked. I do hope the rest of the nation wakes up and realizes that we need to be better stewards of our resources so we can minimize the harm of future disasters.

The STeam version of Kotor 2 just got an update enabling higher resolutions, controller support, and Steam Workshop support that includes immediate support for the Lost COntent mod. Was not expecting this, but I can't wait to sink my teeth into it.
