Played it yesterday, it was fucking awesome! \m/ \m/ It's really short, but I still loved it, the bits where the music starts to play, hearing the Predator running around, growling and all that stuff was really cool. Finding its blood on some leaves and Nomad going all "If it bleeds, we can kill it" had me jumping with joy. \m/ \m/ If they ever make a full Predator game, this is how it should be (just longer ), as it really captured the feel and look of the movies in a way that none of the other games involving the Predator have been able to. \m/ \m/

God Eater Resurrection, thought there were only a couple of missions left, turns out, Resurrection adds a fair bit of content after the Burst storyline. So now I'm upgrading my stuff and playing the other missions, it'll be a while before I can finish this game.

A good chunk of them are. It's never bothered me because it's entirely optional, you can do that, or you can play the game normally, I only used scout rush for that mission where it's just Welkin and Alicia.

I have a notebook with notes I took when playing, including the strategy and units I used for that mission. It was pretty though specially because lancers can miss a mountain at point-blank range. It was pretty fucking awesome when I finally managed to clear it though. Edit: Found the notebook, turns out this is all I have from that chapter, so... I have no idea how I managed to actually clear it, weird since I have a ton of stuff for the other missions. Apologies for the awful handwriting.

I thought 1, 3 and 4 took place somewhat around the same time, different fronts of the same war and all, though I could be (and probably am) wrong. I don't mind the characters being included since it's DLC stuff that you unlock after clearing the game.

Not really, 2 was a sequel but the change in tone and setting makes it feel like a completely different game, 3 never got an English release, but takes place alonside the events of the first one, just in a different place, seems like 4 is taking the same path, so I think you should be fine even if you've only played the first one.
