Hahhaa. I love Dead Rising. But yeah, it seems like an effective way (in theory) of keeping the combat in the background, without eliminating it completely this time or just saying that crappy combat controls are an excuse for tension.

Holy crap. Last night I dreamed I was 'time-slipping,' where I would black out and an unspecified amount of time would pass and I would be in the future, having not remembered what I had done, but done lots of things. There was other crazy stuff that happened as well, but boy, that was an intense dream.

Haa. I always stay far away from the helis in the BC games. Never once been able to fly them.

I've got faith in you - you'll do just dandy. Keep your children away from leashes and try not to pull their arms off in extremely public places, and I have no doubt that everything will be just more than fine.

Yeahh. Parenting is definitely gonna be incredibly difficult when I do eventually do that. I imagine I'll be terrified my kids are going to accidentally kill themselves somehow, constantly. Speaking of bad parenting, I was down by the wharf again yesterday, and there was this slightly cracked out looking dad with a mother and group of children that walked by - and then one of the kids, a young girl started running away from him (his daughter, I'm assuming, because otherwise...) and he ran back and was shouting at her and grabbing her really hard by the arms and pulling him along with her - happened twice. I was relieved when a minute later a bicycle cop went by and turned down the block they had gone down, because something just didn't seem right there, but like you said, you can't exactly do much. You never really know the situation. But still. Eek. I felt shitty standing there and watching that.

I was growing it for a few weeks and then decided to shave. I don't remember why. Owww. Seriously though, my skin sucks, it's like predisposed to a crappy shave.

From a Yelp review: Sounds like a lovely mother. Some months back I was down at Fisherman's Wharf and saw a lady who had her child on one of those 'child-leashes.' The kid was screaming and crying on the ground as the mum was tugging her on the leash. I took a picture: Feel free to share your horrified observations of bad parenting here.

Ever since the keyboard that came with my iBuyPower rig busted (dropped it one too many times - I'm always frickin dropping keyboards it seems), I've been using another old default one - Kensington or something. It does the trick.

Yeah, my mobo basically doesn't support dual GPUs (because even though it was advertised to, the second slot runs at 4x instead of 16x which, with what I've read on the internets, effectively cripples the speed and makes it useless) which totally blows. Luckily the card seems strong enough on its own right now.

I've had both, but I would do dirty things to my beloved Radeon 5870. Best (and most expensive/most up to date with the times) video card I've ever owned.
