  1. bnlahhr. Just bought $35 worth of Chinese food that ended up sucking hard (from a place I've never tried before). Haaaaate when that happens.
  2. Nothing! I'm hungry and want foooood. All I have right now is soup. I had a can of tomato soup last night. Was still hungry. But I don't rather want to go to the store right now and nothing orderable sounds particularly appealing right now. BOOO.
  3. Ohhhhhh. Freaking awesome. Last night I figured out how to start my own temporary server just off my computer so, that in effect, I could transfer my world to that temp server, and my friend could connect and we could Minecraft my world together. So much fun! We just found out the hard way that portals to the nether don't work in SMP yet though. /sadface
  4. Noo, those are 'pill bugs' or rolly polly's, as we called them. I used to scoop those guys up and play with them all the time.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eY0A-15JQ8k This man is genius and one of my many heroes.
  6. Potato Bugs - I hate these little bastards. In my home back at the mountains, there was a period where they were always getting in the house - so you really wouldn't want to walk around bear foot at night. There was one time where I was playing WoW late at night over summer and my parents were gone, and my cat kept brushing against my leg. Not paying attention, I'd just sort of nudge him away. And then one of the times I feel it and notice my cat isn't around. Look down and ONE IS CRAWLING ON MY LEG so I jump around like a maniac screeching and kick it off, fling it outside... And then somehow, I get suspicious later, look at the ground and it's heading for me again. I forget what I did. I think I took it as a sign to stop playing and shut myself in my room and went to sleep after that. Things I don't miss about the mountains...
  7. !!! I'm not even female and that hurts. I was at some crappy nu-metal concert in high school once, and I remember some dude standing there without his shirt on, bobbing his head to the music, and he's got blood gushing from his eyebrow, where it's pretty obvious he's just gotten an eyebrow piercing ripped off his face. Gwuhh. Kind of glad I took mine out sometimes. This is the same thought that goes through my head when I see women wearing massive hoop earrings.
  8. Yurg. Spoiled. Already jones'in for more Steam Sales - even though I bought pretty much everything I wanted... there's got to be more! ... :'(
  9. mmm... going to try to start jogging again... tonight?

Of course. If you're like me and you don't do it now, you'll keep putting it off.

Do it. The weather shouldn't be too bad. I think.

Yeah, it's actually kind of clear today, although it's already dark.

Going in a few minutes after I wrap up work.

  10. Whoever doesn't like the King's Quest series needs a good smacking. :mma:
  11. I always wanted glasses because I thought they looked cool. /vanity
  12. Yeahh, like, I have a ton of board/card games and there's loads of ones I want, but none of my friends live in the city now, so it's super rare for me to have an opportunity to play them. Plus, the adapted versions usually have awesome visuals to go along with the game.
  13. I've been impressed by how polished the game is - the quirky music, the solid mechanics and the surprisingly good story writing between levels. Non-PC-gaming-wise, I played this card/strategy game in person with my friend and his girlfriend the other night, when they came to visit. Called Dominion- It is AWESOME. I wish they had a Steam or XBLA version of it so I could play it again. There seems to be an online version, but it looks slightly homebrew and the webpage is in German - tried to get it working briefly, but couldn't. http://www.brettspielwelt.de/Spiele/Dominion/
  14. Also: I'd say the mark down is because Steam is awesome. The developers make a shit load of money off these sales. There's been a number of cases where small developers have been saved from a Steam sale where their game sells for peanuts and sells like hot cakes. Plus there's numerous conversions from people that pirated the game and figure, what the hell, it's cheap and I loved the game, I'll buy it. Plus, there's gotta be minimal overhead, unlike the actual physical copies of the games. PC gaming is far from dead.
  15. Lazy. Tired and lazy. Anyone feeling this way? Is it Monday? It feels like Tuesday, at least...

  16. while (Steam != "") { print "PC Gaming is not Dead."; } else { die. } ^ totally invalid PHP markup with a totally good point
  17. But can Peter sing the Zombie Alphabet?
  18. I WAS IN A HURRY! I think my hands are whiter than normal though... I don't even have blood on me, so I think you win.
  19. DIDSOMEONESAYZOMBIE? No awesome facial hair, though, unfortunately.
  20. Picked up Greed Corps. the other day. Played through the first campaign so far - had been wanting it since I saw the XBLA release. It's a very excellent game - and can be extremely hard. You think you've got the match in a bag? Next move - HA. You lose. It's terrific.
