Hmm... now that I think about it, I might get mine cut in the New Year...
-
Wallace and Gromit always gets shown on TV around Xmas time in the UK. Personally, I can't say I have any Christmas programs I go out of my way to watch. Saw Kiki's Delivery Service on TV on Christmas Day a few years back, so I tend to re-watch it around Xmas Day time just cos I enjoy it so much.

I've had mine cut 3 times this year. That being said, before this year, my last haircut was in 2006.

http://www.dropbox.com/gallery/16840065/1/Wallpapers?h=416a06 Mostly just Eureka Seven and other anime wallpapers. I quite like the Sonic DJ one which I found was saved on the Sonic Adventure 1 Dreamcast disc

I agree that Iron Man 2 was good, but nowhere near as awesome as Iron Man 1 was. I put it more down to the villains though in 2, rather than the Avengers stuff, which I quite liked. The villains in the first film all came of as pretty strong, whereas in #2, they were mostly a joke, especially Justin Hammer. Ivan Vanko got beat by Iron Man early on, then went on to work for Hammer, who wasn't treated as a serious threat, which made Vanko look worse. Plus there just weren't enough combat/action moments in #2, with the first one being Monte Carlo. In Iron Man 1, the film literally started with a bang. But going back to Thor, while I am looking forward to it, it's going to be hard to pull off, as it will be mixing genres with Asgard and the Norse Gods with almost sci-fi elements; SHIELD and the robot-ish villains it looks Loki makes.

As long as the fact it's gonna be in 3D doesn't mean it involves Mjolnor been thrown at my face, this should be a cool film. Though I am looking forward to Captain America and The Avengers more. On the other hand though, Marvel/Disney are getting cheaper and cheaper, as Jon Favreau won't be directing Iron Man 3: http://goo.gl/fb/E8jGM

Spirited Away is a great film. If ya haven't already, do watch some of the other Ghibli movies.

They have an IT Department? That's giving them a bit too much credit after this... Maybe a monkey with a iPhone :

One of us! One of us!

This is definitely a game I'm interested in having a go at when it's released. I imagine I'll only bother renting it, but it's piqued my interest a bit.

Wow... just wow. That is just plain idiotic...

With that being said: And of course, one of the greatest TV edits ever:

I watched one episode of Berserk, and honestly I fell asleep during it, and what I did see didn't really keep me interested. Just had a quick look-up of Bokurano, and like I said, I'm a bit of a mecha fan, so that sounds interesting.

I finished watching Durarara! and thought it was great... up until the finale, which just let me down significantly. I think every other episode was great, except for the end. I felt it just didn't seem to have the huge blow-off that it was built up to have.

Looks like a Spam E-mail going round that hit my normal inbox: Was a bit iffy considering (1) I signed in with my Facebook account, and (2) the URLs in the e-mail.

A few more big hard drives to put in my PC would be nice. A new suit. ...Ummm... that'd do for now

They must all be pretty new shows, as I haven't heard of any of them Any chance ya could tell me a bit about what Kuragehime is about?
-
That was fantastic, and certainly the best thing I've seen today

Wow, you sound pretty hardcore Meat Boy. What's your favourite past-time then?
-
Meat Boy, I have to ask, what type of meat are you? And why are you sooo super?

I remember having a bit of a debate with a friend once about how Ocarina of Time fits into the RPG genre compared to something like Tomb Raider. I had always classed OoT as an RPG, but it certainly didn't involve the traditional RPG elements such as levelling up and adapting stats. It did include changing of equipment though, but then again so did Tomb Raider, but maybe not to the same extent in TO. As for actual characterisation, it has definitely improved over the years, as systems can allow more of it to be transferred without the use of long text-boxes. And with ability to have voice-acted cutscenes, developers are seeing the need for better writing to be involved as well.

I remember one time I helped a friend of mine with his media coursework, where one of the options to write about explicitly stated writing about Stan Lee, which I was pretty jealous about. Such an interesting piece of work that would've been to do.
