  1. It could be the simpler components and the fewer numer of them. Seriously?
  2. It's a Steam branded PC with Valve software is what I'm getting.
  3. Yeah, I feel like in this day and age, where our devices are more complicated with ever and with an ever increasing amount of components, that the likelihood for shit going wrong has gone way up.
  4. Do you think there's more, or is it just a symptom of them being anonymous and being more vocal?
  5. Serious, bro? Just started listening to these guys. I began by hearing this about 5 hours ago, and literally had to turn it off within a minute. If you've recently been anywhere near experiencing what it's about, it's almost impossible to listen to. Whole album somehow captures the exact sound of that kind of despair. Yeah, at times, the album can be really powerful.
  6. Agreed on that. One part that sticks out is that section in the shipwreck area where you have both the water and multiple ships to move between with enemies all over the place.
  7. I've posted why I thought Brotherhood was inferior to 2 a few times before. I assume Revelations, with its one year development, was much the same.
  8. I'm trying to ditch Adblock Plus... I see there aren't many Firefox options... but is there anything let allows for quick editing of the hosts file to allow certain sites? Or just tips to do it myself?

It's been known for years that Peer Block doesn't actually stop anyone who REALLY cares about tracking your torrents and it's quite worthless in that regard.

Nothing does, really. Its functionality hinges on mass-connectability. PB is just an overzealous blacklist that adds a layer of protection because it's very cumbersome to buy another block of IPs to track from. FWIW, my household hasn't received a single notice since adopting it, but had a few warnings before.

Yeah, I've gotten a couple warnings in the past, but haven't ever gotten one since using PB. I know correlation != causation, but whatevs.

  9. I just hope they annonce that this has been worked on for 3 years and the last two games were released by a b-team.
  10. So... is this one of those on purpose leaks? This is a bit much. Anyways, wow, took them long enough to make this series interesting again.
  11. Alright, if I get bored this weekend I'll check it out.I really liked the Lifehacker overview of it. It was basically "fuck you morons it works fine with a kb + m"
  12. Soo.... Rayman Origins Demo in my Steam library without my permission. RIP Steam. It was fun while it lasted.

Same thing happened to me but as of now it is gone from my library. I'm a little confused as to what is happening.

It's not the demo. I already mentioned as such a few posts down. Has anyone actually looked at it more than going "there's a string of text that says 'Rayman Demo' in my library"? The demo that managed to download itself with no one noticing, without it popping up in the download tab, without it actually installing a single file or folder.

Yeah, it was just a bug, seems to be fixed now.

  13. http://soundcloud.com/zammuto/idiom-wind-album-version I'm enjoying this more than the last The Books album for sure.
  14. Can you run Win 8 in a VM? I would just install it outright but I need my desktop for work now.
  15. In the Seattle area I've never noticed it. Some of the chicks play pretty decently and no one seems to treat them any differently. Though most of them are just dudes girlfriends.
  16. It's a mildly amusing story about a "nerd" getting laid. What's the big deal? Oh right, you guys never get laid.
  17. Oh you're talking about the manual for the Vita itself. I thought you meant games.
  18. ... but it did. I remember having to turn it on in the first place.
  19. *cringes* Oh god, did you really just say that? Are you trolling me or have you never played either game? They don't even use the same engine.
  20. You can skip it in Mass Effect 3 at least.
