I'd prefer to give one than take it.

I'm just wondering if Hottie's going to take Goblin's suggestion and take a pole.

The same could be said of all comics, whether web or not.

Assassin's Creed: Unity. $45 from Amazon, brand-spankin new, still in the shrink wrap.

He speaks the truth.

That's what I mean by surprisingly durable though: people can sometimes survive really horrific injuries, even with very little medical assistance. Like Phineas Gage, who took the railroad spike through the head (not that he didn't get treatment, but it was 1848 so it was fairly rudimentary by our standards).
-
People are simultaneously surprisingly durable and surprisingly fragile. I agree IRL he most likely would have died, but his survival isn't so impossible as to strain suspension of disbelief imo.

Apparently the Xbone version runs better than the PS4, so that's the version I'll be getting. This is the first AC game I haven't preordered since the first one.

But surely you can agree that letting it be optional via the Iron skull like 3 and 4 (and I believe CE:A) is better than having it be mandatory, right?

My 5' 11 7/8" is without shoes or socks.

I actually noted that Alex is an androgynous name and figured it was about both of them.
-
Yeah, I liked that in later installments they made that insta-fail thing an optional skull instead of default for Legendary.

See, I have way more fond memories of 3 than 2, because 3 I played 3-player LAN coop, all sitting in the same room but on separate Xboxes. It was epic. I also hated the Flood in 2 worse than 3. Hated it least in 1 though. So glad the Flood weren't in 4. The Prometheans had problems, but they weren't as outright aggravating as the Flood. *Edit* - It was pretty awesome though playing all the way through Halo 2 in French with my dorm roommate a month before release.

Man, my smoke N64 was the greatest.

CE is closest to my heart, but Reach might actually be my favorite. I dunno, they're quite different. But yeah, 2's campaign is definitely the low point of the series. There was an interview a while ago that cracked me up, where they asked if they've added anything to the ending of Halo 2 to make it less cliff-hanger-y, and the guy goes "Yeah, Halo 3."
-
I don't know about friends list specifically, but Halo 2 did invent a lot of the online play stuff we take for granted now.
-
I have it preordered, but not sure when I'm actually gonna get around to playing it between the MCC and Dragon Age.

Watched Edge of Tomorrow last night. It was actually good, and had the coolest alien design I've seen since the xenomorph. Just watched Big Hero 6 today. Also really good, though way more sad parts, and way sadder ones, than I was expecting.

My wife and I just finished Death Note a couple nights ago. Definitely recommend it, though the last this isn't quite as good as the rest.

Today I was helping my parents go through a storage unit, randomly came across this: Especially weird that today happens to be the exact 10th anniversary of Halo 2's release.
-
I don't remember any specific thing, it just didn't click at all.
-
Ah, okay, thanks.

I quit Mark of the Ninja after the first level. I just did not like it one bit.

Does it work on the website? I can't find anything about it.
