  1. That's the only one I resorted to save-scumming for.
  2. I'll let you know once I make some more progress in it.
  3. The DoD is almost a quarter of the total US budget, and more than half of discretionary spending. They have a LOT of money to throw around. I'm not saying it's definitely not marketing BS, just that it's plausible.
  4. Well they say they should have a working prototype running next year, so it'll be fairly quick that we'll see. And it makes sense that it would be a major military contractor like Lockheed that would figure it out, since the military, especially the navy, has an interest in small but powerful power sources.
  5. The US site definitely like a little different, and I've never run into those problems.
  6. Playstation Plus > Your Instant Games Collection is difficult?
  7. Yeah, that's why I love it so much, it totally fits them.
  8. Sneaking's easy once you get the hang of it. I especially love that you don't have to worry about them finding corpses: if they do they'll look around a little and then go "screw it, who cares?" and go back to whatever they were doing.
  9. Watch Dogs: Bad Blood. It was effectively free, because it was $15 and put me over the edge to get the $15 PSN credit.
  10. Not really, there's some trophies that are a little fiddly, one of them I resorted to save scumming (with a USB stick since it autosaves), but all of them are just a matter of doing them. Took me 31 hours total. *Edit - A good portion of them will just happen naturally during play, and most of the rest encourage you to use the various powers rather than just sticking to one method, so overall I'd say they're week-designed trophies.
  11. It's possible, but you have to spend a bunch of time doing side stuff to knock out all those trophies before you finish it. The last trophy I got was the one for beating the game.
  12. Yeah, and as far as multiplayer goes, there's actually two different Halo 2 multiplayers in the pack: the original multiplayer, that looks (except 1080p60) and plays exactly as before, and then the anniversary multiplayer which is a new engine with new maps, where they tried to capture the feel of the old multiplayer but not duplicate it exactly.
  13. Yeah, I just hit the button while the notification was on.
  14. Wow, no one's beat anything in a week? I just finished Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, and platinumed it in the process. Great game, highly recommend it to everyone.
  15. Worse. Decreased damage at max range.
  16. New hotfix: I assume that last one refers to Loot Cave 2.0. This is the fix that I've been waiting for to buff scout rifles, though I'd also like that buff to exotics.
  17. The crowds are one thing we can definitely say at this point wouldn't have worked on last gen, and those are supposed to be pretty integral to the whole French Revolution feeling. Something I noticed in Shadow of Mordor that I'm going to guess is RAM-related is that the enemies have way more barks, repeating themselves far less often than last-gen games.
  18. My PC can typically run PS360 games with FXAA, 16x AF, and high textures/shadows/etc. So yeah, looks a lot better than on PS360. *Edit* - At 60 fps with v-sync, obvs.
  19. Endless Space gets massive bonus points for being in space. It's hard for a game to overcome that merely by being "better".
  20. Confirmed that Rogue is coming to PC early next year. Good news, as now I can play the game without having to do it on a gouge-my-eyes-out last-gen console.
