Yeah, it's really not an amazing deal. It's little enough money saved that I may end up not getting the pass at all, just buying each thing as it comes out, that way if I lose interest I haven't already spent the money.

I wouldn't call myself an Uncharted fan, even though I've enjoyed all of them. I also wouldn't have called myself an Infamous fan until Second Son. I feel like to call yourself an actual fan requires some level of involvement/attachment above and beyond just enjoying them.

The expansion pass gets you two expansion packs. The pass is $35, the packs are $20 each, so you save $5 with the pass.

I have slept in my underwear in the same bed as a girl with whom I was just friends. That's why my underwear stayed on instead of my usual birthday suit. Not saying they're not fucking, just that it's possible.

I've got the standard edition. I didn't especially want any of the bonuses from the special edition other than the expansion pass, and it's about $5 cheaper to buy the base game and pass separate.

Yeah, is ridiculous. Yes, there are issues with people understanding consent, but I imagine there's very little overlap on the Venn diagram of that and take where a girl's drink was spiked. No matter how much education or awareness campaigns you have you're never going to eliminate the problem of bad people who want to do bad things to other people, and saying that we shouldn't provide tools to help people protect themselves is just stupid.

The other thing you can't bypass is the additional processing power, either you use it and your games are incompatible with the old version, or you don't.

I think it's stupid and fragmentastic (TM Thursday Next). Nintendo needs to call it what it is: a new console altogether, with backward compatibility. It definitely needs a new name; calling it a New 3DS is even more confusing than the naming of the Wii U, especially considering the games that are going to only be compatible with this version.
