It's not coming to the Play store, is being integrated with the Amazon so that was already available for Android devices. But yeah, previously you could stream Amazon Instant Video on your Kindle Fire, but not on generic Android devices.

Ordinarily I'd agree, but in games like Destiny where there's a bunch of other players and you want to make yourself distinct I'm more on board with that stuff.

I realized I probably can't do my Walmart plan because the preorder edition is actually a separate SKU and everything, so I couldn't substitute it for the one I bought from Walmart.

People on the internet always bitch about there not being enough content. The game could have 10,000 hours of unique stuff and they'd still whine about it.

Everybody remember to join the PXoD clan. http://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/165389 You have to do this even if you're a member of the group, because clans and groups are related but distinct things, and also even if you already did this before the Alpha/Beta, because Bungie reset clans since then. Just click "Join Xbox Clan" or "Join Playstation Clan" on that page.

The way I read it you just have to redeem the PS3 version before the 15th, not the PS4 version. But I am not 100% sure of that.

Something can be orchestral and still have a strong melody. Lord of the Rings is a perfect example of that, or Star Wars. And the problem isn't so much that they don't have melodies at all times, it's that they never have them.

The surface of leather can get torn up pretty easily, but structurally it'll last forever.

Hummable tunes are something I feel many games are missing nowadays. I read (or possibly watched?) something a couple years ago that had the thesis that the reason people think old games' music was so much better than modern games was because the old midi synthesizers were so limiting that you were pretty much obligated to create a strong melody for it to even sound like music, whereas today they like to create these big, complicated, orchestral scores that don't have strong melodies to them, and so are ultimately forgettable.

My S4 is already bordering on too big; usage-wise is nice, but the damn thing already barely fits in my breast pocket, which is where I keep it in my work clothes.

Now that everyone has started posting about the Destiny servers being live and how they're playing it and whatnot my hype levels have shot back up through the roof. I'm seriously considering going to Walmart tomorrow after my sole appointment (which ends at 10:00 AM) and buying the game, then returning the Amazon one when it arrives.
