Yeah, what Ethan said. Initially I was super miffed about how rudimentary the narrative is, but the universe is still really well developed and the instant you play with friends you forget all the woes.
The gameplay is amazing. The RPG mechanics are insanely compelling, too. And I've never got into MMO structure RPGing.

When I quit last night I had just unlocked the first Venus mission (turns out I guessed wrong, Venus is before Mars). I'm stoked.

I just want to add in one thing: I disagree that it sucks for singleplayer. It's very comparable to Halo: singleplayer is a lot of fun, coop is a million times better.

I expected more because it's developed by Bungie, who is known for heavy story development in their shooters.

It's not coming to the Play store, is being integrated with the Amazon so that was already available for Android devices. But yeah, previously you could stream Amazon Instant Video on your Kindle Fire, but not on generic Android devices.

Ordinarily I'd agree, but in games like Destiny where there's a bunch of other players and you want to make yourself distinct I'm more on board with that stuff.

It's interesting to me that this is happening at the same time Puerto Rico is going through the process of petitioning to become a US state. Wouldn't it be interesting if Scotland officially separated from the UK in the same year that Puerto Rico officially became the 51st state?

I realized I probably can't do my Walmart plan because the preorder edition is actually a separate SKU and everything, so I couldn't substitute it for the one I bought from Walmart.

People on the internet always bitch about there not being enough content. The game could have 10,000 hours of unique stuff and they'd still whine about it.

Everybody remember to join the PXoD clan. http://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/165389 You have to do this even if you're a member of the group, because clans and groups are related but distinct things, and also even if you already did this before the Alpha/Beta, because Bungie reset clans since then. Just click "Join Xbox Clan" or "Join Playstation Clan" on that page.

The way I read it you just have to redeem the PS3 version before the 15th, not the PS4 version. But I am not 100% sure of that.

Something can be orchestral and still have a strong melody. Lord of the Rings is a perfect example of that, or Star Wars. And the problem isn't so much that they don't have melodies at all times, it's that they never have them.

The surface of leather can get torn up pretty easily, but structurally it'll last forever.
