So, the NDAA passed (the one that allows US citizens arrested within the US to be held indefinitely without trial). Obama says he's going to sign it. I now have 0 candidates for whom I could in good conscience vote next year.

I was pissed enough when they reduced it from all hearts to 8 hearts, so you can imagine how I felt about this... I understand why they can't have the fairies healing all hearts, but they should have left it at 8 imo. *Edit* - Also, wtf is up with there not being any way to double your resistance or whatever? Like how in OoT you could make it so enemies only did 1/2 damage. Did I just miss that or is it not in this game?

Yeah, there's only brainwash them or kill them. The only "third option" is not to do Legion's loyalty mission at all, but then that results in them brainwashing the nice geth into hating you, so... *Edit* - On my "do what I actually think is right" character I killed them all. Guess I really buy into the whole "give me liberty or give me death" thing, and think it's worse to subrogate someone's free will than it is to kill them.

Funny thing was, I did not truly 'roleplay' this. Effectively, I 'gamed the system' (possibly an idea for an article there, although I'm sure others have touched on this before). I figured there's no way they'd have the Worst Ending Ever as a possibility in the first part of a game trilogy and the dialogue seemed to imply that the real cirumstance was about incurring greater losses for the Alliance Navy i.e. humans.. Yeah. I didn't actually pick the "let them die" option (except on my Renegade Shep), I picked the "Save them if you can, but focus on Sovereign" option. However, the game treats that as identical to the "let them die" option. :/

She's kinda bitchy in ME1, but nothing at all like in ME2. Honestly between her and Kaiden I had to kill Kaiden every time because I just cannot stand what a pussy he is. *Edit* - Yeah, she's a little racist against non-humans at the beginning, though she improves throughout the game (kind of like Pressly).

I would classify my main shep as good, but he's definitely a moral relativist. He weighs the pros and cons and take the choice he sees as representing the highest likelihood of doing the most good. So if it's a choice between letting the council die to maximize the likelihood of defeating Sovereign or saving the Council but potentially losing the Citadel and allowing the Repears into the galaxy then yeah, he'll let the Council die. He'll wish that it hadn't come to that, but when it does he'll make the tough call and recognize that no one, not even the Council, is worth losing the entire galaxy for.

Except that their engine isn't designed to utilize modern PCs very effectively.

Oh yeah, it looks like the spokes would work perfectly fine for that kind of thing. When I said I was skeptical about their practicality I was thinking more along the lines of cars and trucks.

Yeah, that part was retarded. "We're trying to figure out how to prevent shit getting in the spokes and fucking them up." Um, how about you, I dunno, cover them? Also if all you're really worried about is preventing flats the military has been using foam filled tires for ages now for just that reason. The spokes are pretty cool, but I'm skeptical about their practicality.

Yeah, the only reason I save as many as I do is in case I get myself into a situation I cannot get out of, then I can go back to before it happened.

For a lot of things, yes, but he will also get to veto lots of pork and unconstitutional stuff like SOPA and NDAA. True, but then you end up with nothing getting done at all because Congress won't pass the legislation he wants and he vetoes whatever they can pass. Not that that would be all that big a change from the current system...

Yeah it is, her hair and makeup's just different. Probably reworked the facial model a little bit too.

All in all a pretty minor spoiler, but I know I would have preferred not to know, so I'll assume others might feel the same.

I think he'd have even more trouble getting legislation passed than most presidents, because neither party would really be on board with his ideas.
