  1. Coupons are only valid through March 1, keep that in mind.
  2. Surprised Zelda's not on the Wii list.
  3. We had a big discussion about that in the English vs. English thread. I'll see if I can find it. *Edit* - Here's the start of it: http://forum.pressxo...039 Like I point out in there, not every double o makes the oooo sound. Around here people pronounce the "oo" in "roof" like the one in "took" or "book", rather than the one in "hoot" or "boot".
  4. Yeah, it's entertaining but there's no real difference between levels.
  5. Well right, you'd have to look the surrounding usage. That's how dialects/accents happen. It's "correct" in one and "incorrect" in another, even though they're both using "the same language". Also, found this on another forum and it pretty well explains my usage of a/an with h words:
  6. I would guess that the one Johnny posted has a vent on the other side, but I agree that it needs space for ventilation on the front. Here's mine, Antec Nine Hundred: Aside from the LEDs I don't think it's OTT, everything about it is very functional.
  7. SpaceChem is actually a whole hell of a lot of fun. I wouldn't have thought a game about chemical engineering would be so awesome. Anyway, bought this:
  8. Yeah, with the LRV thing I was just making a (bad) joke. And there's plenty of differences in dialect across the US, so the cut/add thing could very well be regional.
  9. I don't know about technical rail usage, but as far as common usage goes I'd agree with all of those except that around here we would say railroad instead of railway and couple/uncouple instead of add/cut. Also: That's not an LRV! THIS is an LRV!
  10. Did you not already own the games? And if you did can you not still re-gift them?
  11. I got a fancier case this last time I built a computer. The time before I'd cheaped out on the case and there was barely enough room inside (especially for the video card) and it hardly had any places to put fans, and I didn't want to repeat that mistake. But I didn't go as fancy as any of that, I still only spent $100 on it.
  12. It's like one of those shitty WMP visualizers, but real and made of fire. Awesome.
  13. Yeah, we had Bob the Builder, but that was after my time. Other than that, nothing of that sort springs immediately to mind.
  14. I know it's called the Storm Trooper, but that looks more ODST to me.
  15. lol, glad I'm not the only one who instantly thought "storm trooper".
  16. WILL THE MADNESS NEVER STOP?! $6 on Amazon btw, if anyone's interested. A bunch of other EA games are on sale too. All downloads. *Edit* - And apparently buying that qualified me for $5 off my next Amazon downloadable PC game purchase, good through January 31. If only I thought I would ever buy anything else on there...
  17. I think Postal Delivery Worker is the technical name for the position within the USPS. Like how a Walmart checker is an "associate".
  18. Even not taking into account things like PhysX, I've just always had a better experience with Nvidia cards. The ones I've had have had fewer problems/bugs with games, and are just generally more usable in terms of compatibility and adjusting settings. Obviously that's just anecdotal though.
  19. Woo! Posting from my newly rooted Nook Tablet.

  20. I actually made a thread about it last year.
  21. I would guess that that OEM HDD does not come with a cable. The SSD probably does, but there's not one pictured so if you want to be sure you'll be able to set it up right away you might do well to find a cable. Yeah, no problem with that.
  22. Yeah, that year was a fluke of scheduling, usually it was more like 4-4.5 weeks in college. In elementary/high school it was like 1.5 weeks if we were really lucky.
