I think the biggest problem with the coupons is that they're being given out during the Steam sale when anyone who wants that game can buy it for just as cheap, if not cheaper, than the coupon would let them.

I haven't installed a sound card since motherboards started having 7.1 audio built in. But I am admittedly not an audiophile.

Yeah, the way I look at it is that it's a mispronunciation until enough people start using it that it becomes just an alternate pronunciation, and then eventually if most people start using it it becomes the pronunciation.

I got Friday and Monday off work (well, the weekend too, but that's normal) but I had so much to do that it feels like I got even less of a break than normal.

Well think about it, even if it's 100% even distribution, the number of games on Steam that you are not interested in far exceeds the number of games that you are. The number of games you are interested in but already have is also probably much larger than the number you don't have and want. So statistically you're far more likely to get a coupon for a game you're not interested in than one you are, and you're also more likely to get a coupon for a game you already have. And that's assuming that they haven't played with the probabilities at all.

I think all controllers should be modular. Both thumbsticks, the d-pad and the 4 face buttons (as one unit) should all be removable and you should be able to slot them in to any of those four locations.

lol, I would have been all over that shit if I hadn't just bought it (probably in the same daily deal you did). Too bad you can't just straight-up sell your inventory items (within the client I mean, I know you could gift+paypal). *Edit* - Managed to get into my inventory just long enough to see that now I have -50% on Chantelise: Tale of Two Sisters. It's already -50% in the sale.

One of today's achievements is just to trade. Anybody want to trade a coal for a coal? Or a -25% valve for a -25% valve? I mean, obviously if there's a real trade you want to do that would be cool too. Inventory doesn't appear to be working atm though.

I think it's kind of an English vs. English thing, but not entirely. I think Americans tend to say "a historian" but I agree it sounds awkward and will usually myself say "an historian." But I would definitely say "a history book" rather than "an history book."
