How many missions are there? I have it on PS4 and so far I'm at like #78 I think

80-something in single player. 98 in multiplayer. There are also mission packs. Coming soon on PC and already on consoles.

    Pokemon Go

I am but I just don't spend enough time to level to 20+ to compete in the gyms.
  3. EDF 4.1 Years worth of sploosh released. This is indeed 2017 but better. Multiple classes and online co-op adds so much to the core gameplay. Performance is pretty damn good but it can get laggy in the multiplayer loadout menu. I'm not sure why. I also just crashed out from a game after four hours so that's something to note. There's suspicions of memory leaks in the Steam forums. Porting wise, it's okay. Gameplay and performance is great 99% of the time. It's just the weird menu navigation, UI and options that's kind of irks me. It's so Japanese port-y. The menus can be navigated by having your mouse move through the menu options themselves. It's okay but it is clumsy and inferior to plain old mouse cursor navigation. UI clashes a lot and the communication menu is not intuitive. It took me a while to figure out it's the arrow keys. Y or however you bound it is for ingame text chat. There is no push to talk. Text notifications either overlays menus during setup, chat during the game are via speech bubbles that can be easily missed. It's just so awkward. For the option menu, you wished there was more stuff to it like voice chat volume, graphical options and other quality of life preferences. But yeah, multiplayer is a blast. I'm kind of bummed that I crashed out of a session.
  4. Now for a good action movie. The Raid: Redemption The story is a bit fucky but the fights more than makes up for it. The buildups to the main fights is quite something. Plot armor is there but it is used well.
  5. Word is the port is a bit rough so this will be a gamble but yeah... EDF EDF EDF EDF EDF!
  6. I was nodding in approval till the last part. You fool!
  7. Kill Zone 2 Tony Jaa with various other actors from Thailand and Hong Kong for a fighting romp. Story is kind of a mess and a bit feel goody but the fights are pretty good. A bit too much of Ong Bak in the Tony Jaa's parts though.
  8. Today is the day where we defend the Earth from alien attack.

  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH5lqJPGpOU The coming album might be a bit like Heroes. Fine album with some great songs but it's no Carolus Rex where it just flows.

    Pokemon Go

Almost every night my brother goes out with his friends to romp around downtown or SF State for Pokemon GO. I've seen planned meetups. I've seen even my folks and older family members playing. Shit is weird and I can't tell if it is a fad or will it have staying power. There has to be something to having people actually go outside and you know, interact with people. A biggie is parents with their kids. This sort of thing is almost perfect to spending time with the kids. Go outside, walk around, have some snacks and have a decent time. If you want an adult version, do a pub crawl. I think this game just needs some better game mechanics.
  11. Get me a SNES version where you can slap on a NES add-on like the old days then I'll be down.

    Pokemon Go

That's my life currently. I've lost about five pokemon to it not registering. Add another five to it not responding. Same deal with PokeStops. Quite the frustrating game... And farming Magikarp is suffering. 400 points to evolve one to Gyarados. 15 points so far...

    Pokemon Go

My mom's place has a PokeStop next door and I think my brother put an incense on it. Free exp with Pokeballs refills ahoy! And if you want to be overpowered, try a college campus. Jesus so many PokeStops. Edit: This game just bugs out so much.

    Pokemon Go

It's kind of bizarre to seeing a group of kids walking around. You totally know what they are doing with their phones out. Then there's me walking to my car hoping to get catch a pokemon (got a Paras).
  15. Or in this case, wait for it to go F2P on PC.
  16. Until Blizzard can fix the experience imbalance, I don't have much incentive* to play Competitive. Multiple hard fought wins can be wiped by a single sweeping lost. I can have the same hard fought matches without knowing how my MMR got affected in Quick Play. Quick Play also have the occasional funny team comp. One of my favorites is being all Reinhardt or Roadhog. * It also seem that support characters get kind of shafted. If I main anyone, I main Mercy.
  17. I'll never experience the FREEDOM that is Metal Wolf Chaos

  18. From logs and radio transmissions, there seems to be an end game so I do agree with holding off on it till the game is fully released. Save the "wow" and sense of wonder for later. If you dive in right now, you might get burnt out. As a side note, this game is really pacifist. The only real weapon I see is the knife but its more of a tool than a weapon. At most it's for a last minute defense against the small to shark-sized creatures. There are torpedoes but they're not explosive, non-lethal and they're kind of limited to a sub you can get later in the game.Again, they're more defensive than anything. Edit: And judging by the road map, by December the 1.0 should be done by then.
  19. I'm now at 15 hours. Screw Overwatch. Nothing beats running into an actual sea monster!
  20. After three hours of Subnautica, I have figured out how to get to the point of building my base. It was more of trying to figure out what makes what and figuring out my basic inventory management system. Anyhow, suddenly a sprawling base is in the drawing boards. I'm having trouble getting down past 50 meters so a tunnel to hell is planned or at the very least mini bases for air, food and water. I also came across strong underwater currents. Something strong enough to break a base I think. So far, it's pretty good after nearly dying to hunger and thirst in the first hour and to radiation in the last hour. Oh yeah, the technical side of things: Initial load time is loooong. Changing graphical setting should be done in the main menu since doing so in game crashes it for me. There is also the piss poor graphical options that is just presets that reset to the lowest after every session. Kind of laggy at times when the world loads. What is here though is awesome. The world is pretty alive. It might be one of the livest I've seen in a survival game.
  21. If it helps soothe your hearts and smother the Idea of Evil, chapter 344 has been translated. Edit: If this wasn't Berserk, I just call this hilarious.
  22. There's a problem when a Musou game looks and moves better than your animation. Then of course there is no Lost Children.
