If they follow with the hell world I'll be damn impressed. Might even make me poke my head in kind of impressed.

They should of revealed it by updating XIV by slowly/steadily turning the game world into what was shown in the trailer. Any players left would be wondering what the fuck is going on. Whoever left the game might become curious enough to poke back in and see the hell world. All the while with a narrative going on throughout the game world leading up to the final clash where the players can beat the incoming enemies but there just too much. Whoever is left will be pushed back until the narrator says they have no choice but to be thrown into a time portal. Whoever died will get locked out from playing but they can spectate and will have an idea what will happen. With that, it'll be the second time (?) in a Final Fantasy game where the heroes/heroines failed to save the world. Initially. Of course Square sucks now (Or forever) at being creative. So eh.

After a 6-7 months wait, Castle Story finally have a Kickstarter! I think they're doing it correctly. Back in January they had a video out which shows an early alpha build. At that point they could of done a Kickstarter but they didn't really have much to show so they took all these months to get something decent to finally do a Kickstarter with.

If the grandparent/parent are going to be getting a console, tablet or a smartphone (Let's get away from just the iPhone.). My money would be on the smart phone. Then a tablet and lastly, maybe a console. All with regard to gaming.

I just watched the last ten minutes of the soccor game between Japan and Spain. Very agressive on both sides but... Japan won. I wouldn't expect that. However Japan was a bit sloppy. They had two absolutely clear shots and somehow they didn't manage them.

Saint Row the Third. Its a blast to play. Its not too hard or too easy which really suits its wacky tone. Totally worth the money, even the pack. Oddly enough, that pack is only missing one DLC, the Genki Girl stuff. Not critical so I can ignore it but its sort of hard by just missing that one DLC... perhaps I'll get it when its a buck during the Holiday Sale if I remember. My main complaints for the game is that every vehicle drives like ass. You'll get used to it but yeah... also of all weapons. The pistols seems to be the strongest... it can clear a mob when a SMG can't.

Mobile devices have or will take over the casual market since more and more people will have smart mobile devices. If I want to play a quick casual game, I think I will go to the what I already have instead of buying a new console.

Dinnerbone is working on a log that turned 90 degrees. Not sure how it will all play out but it would be pretty sweet. Now if only we can debark logs for actual log cabins.

I'm okay with guns being around. I'm also fine with regulation on how to get firearms. Remembering V Tech with Cho and now this... there's no debate that some people are just not fit to handle firearms. Same thing with driving a motor vehicle. An outright ban on firearms is insane. Also I feel that the militia back 200 years ago could be pretty much anybody. Thinking back to the Battles of Lexington and Concord (Sidenote, I am actually happy that I remember Concord. I had to google up the spelling of Revere and got reminded of Lexington History class did stick!) the battles with Paul Revere's ride. What met the British was a militia made up a patchwork of town folks. Militia now, in the United States, seems to refer to the National Guard.

I see the 2nd Amendment to be more symbolic than anything. It allows for The last check and balance to the government: a revolution, an armed one at that. In the past the armed population could give the government a good fight if it relations broke down that far. Now, not so much but the symbolism still remains. You take away the 2nd Amendment and you'll take the symbolism away from the US Constitution. Sure it doesn't have to written down somewhere but I find it to be pretty powerful when it is.

A nutcase is a nutcase. I am reasoning this out from how he was found disarmed a little bit away from the theater. He didn't seem to be wanting to suicide by cop. So he has some motive, however crazy. I just hope its not a stupid motive like some people are wondering about the Bain Captial/Bane thing. I will be pissed if it was for some stupid shit like that. Lastly he most likely would of done it anyways, regardless of what the gun laws are, with a homemade bomb.

Ys Oath of Felghana After this final boss, I start to wonder if there is a overarcing story to the Ys games. Guess I'll find out in Origins. By the way Adol is still a badass.

I think it will be since notice how its called Earth Defense Force 4. EDF 2017 is called EDF 3 in Japan. The logo for EDF 4 also gives me a very cheesy feeling to it which is a good thing! My body is ready.
