  1. Not to mention that Danny is the son of a prominent fashion designer in Japan and he also travels around and meets his fans face to face (just last year, he was with FAKKU staff member Jacob for Anime Expo in Los Angeles, and they had their meeting at the ESPN Sports Cafe... which if I went 2 months later instead of the concert I went to, I could have shook hands with him. But the amount of weaboos would drive me mad). And he also attends important meeting pertaining to anime/culture in general for Japan (it's one of his older things, go look around for it). And you also know what? He has his own show dedicated to talking about the culture of Japan, called... naturally, Culture Japan. I'm still lurking around waiting for English subtitled episodes to show up.
  2. I have a physical collection, but I don't do too well in trying to keep it all tidy. Most likely due to the fact that my room is really messy and is mostly filled with the parents' crap already instead of mine, so I have to make do and stick them all in a box. Here at college, though, all I have is a drawer. Not really a problem, since I only brought two games with me anyways. ME2 and Starcraft 2.
  3. I think ugly and strange is part of the allure of the game. Coincidentally, it's also what the main character goes through. The whole game is pretty much one giant clusterball of weird.
  4. His program can solve the unsolvable using ONLY 200 lines of code? Computer programming miracle if I ever did see it.
  5. Yeah, Command and Conquer has some really awesome soundtracks. So here's more! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98jKtUnVTdw
  6. Seriously, though. This is how computer programming works.
  7. I thought Prototype was a good game. However, in its case, it is very possible to run out of things to do. Unfortunately.
  8. I hate waking up early. At least I get breakfast. But I end up completely dead-tired by the afternoon.

  9. Well, I actually liked it quite a lot. Good games based upon Chinese mythology (that aren't MMOs in some form or another) are extremely hard to come by. I think Bioware did a fantastic job taking the mythos and actually making something spectacular out of it. Granted, it felt like there could have been more to achieve, but the game was still very enjoyable to me nonetheless. Still hoping for a sequel though. Probably not going to happen since they're working on TOR and Mass Effect nowadays, and they'd probably question the mainstream potential of something like rebooting JE.
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Qhry7ufxno I have complex tastes. Varies everything from animu songs to... well... this.
  11. I'd have to disagree with Angel Beats. I thought that for a Key animation work, it was absolutely TERRIBLE. The show literally leaves you with more questions than answers, especially in the last half of the series where it starts showing up en masse, and at the end when they don't even tell you jack-crap about what happens to everyone else save the main character and Tenshi. Everything else, though, is good. K-On has various mileage.
  12. GOOD NIGHT FOLKS.

      Good Morning Pir!

  13. It's worth playing. I just wish there was more of the world to explore. And also, I'm contemplating whether or not this should have gone into Multi-Plat...
  14. I actually like David Tennant and Matt Smith. Granted, they're among my first encounters with Doctor Who. My first episode that I watched was "Blink". And that was because I was like "Oh, hey, Doctor Who. I'll check it out and see how good it is". Never looked back since. Also, I'd kill for a sonic screwdriver. So many uses.
  15. I'm perfectly fine with cash shop so long as it's for aesthetic items, stat/skill resets, and things like that. But if the shop allows experience potions/equipment to be bought, then it's an instant no-go for me. Otherwise, I'm fine with either buy/sub or buy/free models.
  16. Bashcraft strikes again. Some random gibberish by him Do we REALLY need to know about this? I would have thought his job was, like, reporting on the Japanese games industry and technology and crap like that. Not, like, f-cking LOVE HOTELS.
  17. Three-eyed cat! Ten out of ten. Well, my avatar is a fan-made rendition of Miki Hoshii from The Idolmaster. Now with glasses. :3
  18. Why, Bioware? Why have they left this child with much potential to rot and die? How DARE they! Anyways, I loved the gameplay, setting, and story of the game. I thought it did pretty well taking Chinese mythology and really ran with it. Thoughs? Opinions? P.S. I'd kill for another sequel. Or an open-world version of this game.
  19. I like Kotaku more than every other gaming site out there. That is all.
  20. I heard Panty and Stocking was pretty good for what it intended to portray. It's worth getting around. Anyways, in more recent terms, a majority of the animes that came out have been... pretty bad. It's like good animes are a precious commodity these days. Here's a list of them if you want to take a gander: Fall 2010 Anime Winter 2011 Anime The only ones I'm looking at right now are Infinite Stratos (misogyny is acting up), Gosick, and Freezing (though this one's starting off slow and is pretty much fanservice). I might also check out Fractale based upon its concept, as well. It is that good. Despite the amounts of fanservice, the story isn't that bad and it has great character development. EDIT: Oh, and I'm also looking to The World God Only Knows season 2 when it comes out.
  21. Oh, there definitely are fansubs for it. Every anime season, there's always a poster child for it. OreImo just so happened to be the one for the Fall 2010 anime season. The current anime season is Winter 2011, though most of them are so bad/banal that I don't even think it has a poster child this time around. Unfortunately, I myself don't like OreImo at all. Mostly, it's to due with intentional ignorance, which leads to jumping to stupid conclusions (the dad and Ayase, for example). That, and misunderstandings abound (another thing that I really hate about certain animes). Lastly is randomness, which is self-explanatory in itself. Too much random (a-la Haruhi) gets an anime on my hit-list, fast. I love Cowboy Bebop. It's one of my classics. FLCL, on the other hand... I never really understood it, and I still don't.
  22. Well, first off, it's probably best to ask: what animes HAVE you seen recently?
