    I noticed there was a pretty large increase of speakup-related topics. Speakup has had a surge in people trying to throw in their own thought-provoking opinions with long walls of text in order to make front page. *sigh* And the editors actually use them. What, are they running out of material or something? Or can they not really be bothered themselves to actually post something thought-provoking besides their usual trash articles?

    I heard they had a Hardcore mode with harder enemies, less ammo, and only permitted to have 3 saves. I think they should one-up that and make Nightmare Hardcore. It's Nightmare because the game will have substantially less lights in the game to keep you sane.

    The University of California regents have announced an incentive pay raise... one day after they announced budget cuts. And people still wonder why California's educational system is going down the crapper.

      An increase in the effectiveness of teachers doesn't seem all that much when the amount of students that can attend higher education is steadily falling. Around here, if you aren't accepted into the UC, you go to CalState, and if not that, then the community colleges, both of which have accepted beyond their normal standard for applications this year due to the sheer amount of students that applied and the decreasing number of available professors.

    Digging up this old thread. Anyways, Brink's gameplay looks to be fast, smooth, and action-packed. I am especially stoked for it because of their totally freaking awesome customization system. I plan on playing Ark Security for the most part since I love being paramilitary.

    I play what floats my boat, pretty much. Though I tend to lean towards RPGs and shooters more than other genres.

    Sega was just the publisher. Obsidian holds the right to the game, so they could theoretically still create a sequel. It's a faint hope, but I'm holding on to it B) Orly? Awesome. I hope they do make a sequel (and with a different publisher that doesn't push 'em to release). I suppose they could always have Bethesda publish the sequel since they're already worked with New Vegas for them. Also, they need to change around the customization options. I found it a bit lacking. Although, having a Thorton with a beard that totally does not match his voice, is still pretty hilarious. I noticed that Sis is in your sig. G22 are my preferred faction in the game (and they're cool).
