So I noticed that some people voted that Crescente was their least favorite editor. Any of you guys care to explain why? I never really took notice to anything Crescente put it myself, so I've been rather oblivious to his articles.

The quest system piques my interest. The whole "Radiant AI" thing, not so much. They were kinda promising they'd deliver on that in Oblivion too. I'm still optimistic, though.

I wouldn't mind the way it's going right now. I'm an action oriented person, which is also the reason why I liked ME2 more so than ME1.

I really enjoyed the story. I like the metro maps that are interspersed through the game, and in the loading screens. Such a large metro network, at least to me. Pretty ingenious to create a game based around tunnel networks.

Griefing, trolling and the nature of online games
Enervation replied to HotChops's topic in General Gaming Chat
Agreed on your first. With your second, what do you mean? I wouldn't recommend the latter unless you have a sharp tongue, but I've successfully fought off failtrolls by trolling back even harder. Or just waiting for someone else to prey on them. Either works. They tend to get pretty territorial when facing off against another troll though. -
I agree with this statement. I was not aware there was a threesome of which you speak! I'm kind of curious as to which character you guys picked when playing JE. I picked the semi-bald big monk guy lol.

The best kind is unintentional trolling, though. :C -

What, Starcraft used to be that hilariously epic? Looks like I was late to the party... -
[SPLIT] Bad Localizations - Why Do We Care?
Enervation replied to TheMightyEthan's topic in General Gaming Chat
I care about localizations. Why? It is an insult to the recipients of a poorly localized game, and it is also an insult to those who made the game in the first place. With a few rare circumstances, good localization should be a part of any gaming company's professional reputation. -
Just got Alpha Protocol and trying it out.

Due to legal circumstances, he will forever be remembered as a captain! Bwahahaha. Just had some pasta, again. There's this one restaurant that I always frequent, good stuff.

Eh, if it really becomes atrocious I'm sure some UI modders will fix it a-la DarnifieD style.

http://www.dannychoo. ..of+Age+Day.html Notice how one actually reports on actual Japanese culture, while the other... well... yeah. What does Japanese culture have to do with an Olivia Munn article? Exactly. You just answered yourself. What DOES Olivia Munn have to do with Japanese culture as a whole? A good question to ask Bashcraft.

Vic Mignogna still voices Ed, right? He's a great voice actor, but I never watched FMA:B.

I dunno, with Crytek's insistence on ultimate 3D, they might just end up letting everyone down for another flashy game. Personally I'm hoping they don't. An urban sprawl offers so much more creativity.

I like anime, but it wouldn't be the reason that I'd be learning Japanese. I'm highly interested in learning multiple languages to expand my horizons. Also, I don't remember when I last saw Zoids... anywhere. God, it's been YEARS since I've seen any variation of that series lol.

It has nothing to do with your/our/his/her/its connection. It runs on a peer-based network connection for joining games, which means the lag you get with various people fluctuates very rapidly. That, combined with Nexon's seemingly inability to comprehend this problem, leads to a lot of varying opinions about Vindictus. I was the CB for it. Then I was in the OB. Then I dropped it. It's nice at first, but once you get to the later levels it's absurdly obvious it was geared to players who can pay for the ridiculous cash shop tokens to get through. Most people burn their all their silver tokens in 2-3 days. I can burn 25 in a 2-3 hour period, because I had a nice guild to run with. And frankly, it's repetitive. You cannot deny that. The level designs are 150,000% linear. Sorry it's not Ragnarok online. Your argument went from "herp a derp connections suck" to "i play too many mmos so this wasn't shit to me." I do not see your point with this statement, not to mention you just popped in a red herring. Thank you for reading my sig. @topic: GameTap has a lot of free arcade style games. I used to play Metal Slug on it (and it even comes with the co-op!) for free. I'm not sure how it is now though, it seems they've changed drastically since I last played. My point is that Vindictus isn't tailored for people who play too many MMOs. It's for people who don't want to play MMOs. Which is why I enjoy it. I guess that makes sense. A lot of games seem to be taking this idea on nowadays. It was pretty good idea to use the Source engine though, makes for great physics.

I've only a cardboard box at the moment, but it's clean and I've stacked my boxes neatly inside it. I'll have them emigrate over to a fancy shelf once I get one.

The video is a joke. I thought most people would get it by the point it says that if you go to a sushi-ya alone, you should always show a little guilt in your eyes. It's in Japanese, so it must be true! :U
-
I love how the video notes the exact angle you must place your hand while eating and entering the sushi-ya. Shall I bring a protractor with me next time?

Ah, one of the bigger F2P games out there! How could we forget that? xD I'm not sure my keyboard allows Cyrillic though.

How in the world did you get pizzas from three different places? You and your friends have some sort of "better pizza" fight? Personally, I shy away from the pizza and go for the pasta. There's only one place here that servers good pasta, and it's a helluva walk away.

I still need to see it. My favorite series so far is GitS: SAC, but my friend just went through Evangelion and said it was great so I'll probably watch it next. Evangelion is meant to be watched in the same way it was written: tripping serious balls on mushrooms. Oh man, no wonder why I thought Evangelion sucked. Time to harvest the shrooms!
