Hmm, are you sure your graphics drivers and whatnot are up to date? Sometimes they cause things like this. If upgrading your drivers doesn't fix it, it's probably a glitch, which at the moment I wouldn't entirely doubt.

That is funny. Lol. Last post in that thread really took the cake.

He noob. :C I'd have to say Meat Boy would qualify for this, in a way. I mean, razor blades. Only a man would have enough courage to jump to his death by spike/blade/fall! And from what I see some people have records of, he can die very well over 14k times. Ouch.

Matchmaking is nice for me, since I am pretty noob when it comes to games that have matchmaking, but I also enjoy servers due to a "set" population, and the opportunity to use modded maps and game modes (in certain games). It's nice to be "one of the usuals."

It probably is. Mind taking a screenshot of it? I want to see what it's like.

Just a heads up for some of you, it seems to work for some people, and not for others. Could go either way for anyone. I myself am having problems (seems to be a threading issue, methinks), but I am willing to wait for them to fix it.

A la Unreal Tournament, where everyone is a mobile armory?

<------ Chaos Lords. All of them!

You're right, being indie doesn't automatically suck, but like I said, it doesn't mean it's instantly a great game. There are dozens of indie games out there, do you play them all? I certainly don't. Many of the indie games I see are some form of side scrolling masher, which may be fun, may be good, but ultimately doesn't bring anything new to the table. Then again, I guess indie devs have to start somewhere. It's good to build a portfolio and get some experience. Anyways, back to the game. I still can't get my copy to work, it crashes JUST as you see the book, which I assume is the main menu. Checking at the Steampowered forums I see that several other people are having this problem as well. Guess I'll just wait until they patch it. Watching the Brit's video really makes me want to try chain lightning on goblins.

While that may not be the case, it's a fact that piracy is far, FAR more of an issue on PC than it is on consoles. PCs, it's as simple as downloading some stuff. Consoles, you have to do some real work to pirate- work that a lot of people don't know how to do. Yes, but the annoying thing is people simply turn a blind eye to the fact that it even exists. A lot of the people I converse with seemed to have a steadfast belief it's a PC only issue.

Wow. Kindly sod off. Because, obviously, every single indie game ever made becomes an instant success, much less reaching the top of Steam's top-selling list on the release day. Of course. Indie games are the last bastion of gaming! If anyone dares to slander indie games in any way they must be a heretic/terrorist/nazi/anarchist!!! Honestly though, Magicka is very much the same thing as Minecraft. A single gem in a sea of mediocre titles. Some are interesting, yes, but Magicka and Minecraft have something in common: they tried something different. And it worked.

You sure you don't have a surgeon alter ego or something? Maybe his mind is bleeding into yours! As for me, I have a penchant to blow my nose... anywhere. And I have a crazy obsession with washing my hands whenever they feel filthy. They don't even need to BE filthy, all I have to do is think they are and I have an urge to wash them.

According to what I can piece together from reviews and word-of-mouth, I believe they used to be dogs.
-
Wow. Kindly sod off. What are you implying by that, hmm?
-
The one thing I find funny is that most people seem to think that piracy only exists on the PC and that it's basically nonexistent on any console.

You're gonna get one hell of a kick out of Amnesia, then. I trust you enjoy hearing bones cracking?

Demo crashes on my end as well.

Didn't Shattered Galaxy get a subscription thing going? I remember it changed hands from the developer when I last played it. It was quite glorious, the definite of multi-commander battles. I watch my cousins play Combat Arms and laugh. :B As for Mabinogi, I really, REALLY, REALLY want to get into it, but every time I do I get butt raped by a bunch of coyotes. Unfun.

I used to pirate too, just some old things that I couldn't find anymore. Like Throne of Darkness. It was before GoG came out though.

Silent Hill weeaboos? I haven't noticed any of them, unless they're concentrating solely in the Silent Hill Downpour article. As for DS2, just watched the GameTrailers review since I don't like reading text reviews. I like to see the game in action as I hear criticism for it. Definitely say that watching people necromorph is something new in this one, eh?

Alas, an idea that I must adhere to while I am running this laptop.

That's exactly my response to Evangelion. The only thing that remotely gets my attention is Asuka, and even then it's not enough for me to really watch it. Evangelion really sees like one of those "you HAVE to have been there when it started" type of animes, which is a large reason why I'm not even bothering with it anymore. I used to watch a bit of it on Adult Swim. A bit. They didn't really show it all that often, and there's no new episodes either. It was all reruns, reruns... Also, I don't think Bakemonogatari is that dark. Might be a wee bit dark, but in comparison to some other things I've seen not really that dark.

Someone named Annalee Lewitz posted up the article talking about Evangelion 2.0. Do they take guest editors or something?

You used to run everything on a tiny 1900x1200 screen?!
