Just watched RED (Retired: Extremely Dangerous) Was quite a blast. Some pretty slick bits in it. Couldn't completely shake the whole idea that the guy is Bones. Certainly something that's all a bit silly and I think just a chance to get some high profile aging actors together n have a blast. Helen Mirran was pretty good too. It was all kind of a bit surreal I guess would be the way to describe it. Oh the plot is a bit wierd to start with, it doesn't actually bother explaining why they're on the run til about 2/3rd in but you can ignore that for the most part.

Whether PS3 or PS2, it's just upscaling. (though in case of PS2 its your HDTV doing the upscaling). It's outputing at 480p and stretching it to make it bigger then applying whatever algorithms to make it less jaggy. Also "(ICO games have issues with fog in PCSX2)". It's the main reason I'm looking forward to the Team Ico Collection.

Yeah the PS3 only upscales, so it's pretty shitty. It is one nice advantage of PCSX2 is it natively runs the game as 1080p (or whatever you set it at)

I like the idea of them. I don't have a huuuge PS2 collection and there's many games I've missed. I also currently don't have a PS2 (I am thinking buying myself one may be a good idea, even if just to keep pristine in a box) My current options are to play it on my PC with PCSX2, or to play one of these HD collections, which are also gonna be bug free on most games (ICO games have issues with fog in PCSX2), I can get trophies, thats no biggy, but I can also own the things. (I'm not going out n buying games to play on an emulator . Not like I can buy the Team ICO games anyway) So yeah they're pretty cool for the folks without either a PS2, or the back catalogue that's now slipping from store shelves. (as for PS1 games I play em on a mix of PS3 but mostly PSP)

I think it's pretty crappy because of the horrible perspectives used. If it was just one looking up it'd be cool, but it's like Duke is leaning back at a 45 degree angle and everything else is normal. Heck it looks more like he's laying ontop of the woman behind him and the shot is just taken from a few feet off the ground. So yeah I'd of left in Duke, removed everything else.

I heard similar too. Maybe they've got the PSN n PC down to pat, and they just think that XBL needs a pre-flight check.

Regarding 3D Realms potentially doing most of the work (which I wouldn't disbelieve for a second) do you think they'll run it as just Gearbox, or if they will stick 3D Realms logo at the start somewhere? As for my opinion on the game: Somewhat disappointed it's actually coming. Cos once it's out n it's done that it, it loses it's magic. I also don't think it'll be that great. Not really looking forward to Bulletstorm for similar reasons too. I just think the game is 12 years too late. A product of the 90's but attitudes and the types of games we get have changed. I'm also unsure if the COD/BF/Halo crowd will buy into it or if it's mostly going to get sales from old fans and it's legendary status.

As far as we can tell from having different leaders, yes it does. Having Brain back in the day gave us easy pickings, leaving Heartless on accidentally led to grueling matches.

Well the solution is to not use that image extension on that board.... (It's a bug that crops up on some threads for some users, we're unsure why. Ethan had it a while back. NI can't at this moment remember how we solved it but you may need to wait for Tali to be on)

I think for now the mobile skin has served everyones needs. And if you're on a Droid and really pressing for things that the full-skin does that the Mobile skin doesn't, just change user-profile. Most browsers I've used on Android allow you to do that quite easily.

Yeah Fablese this isn't a "which Genres do you play", but "Which do you prefer". I play a pretty wide range. But I prefer certain genres over others and will actively seek out games in those genres, keep up with them and generally enjoy a large amount of them.
