No I managed to get the Crysis 2 beta (had to use housemates account though) but wanted to play it and it's all "you can't do this, insufficient Live Privileges" or something. So I'm gonna play TF2 instead.

I think the ATX is a comfortable form factor that'll remain for a long time still. And Mini-ITX is around for those who want something smaller.

Alien Swarm is free and not a bad little game. For console gamers out there it also supports 360 pad but you need to tweak the config files a bit.

No masking tape is masking tape (I knew I was missing something) Gaffer tape is gaffer tape too, it's a kind of very strong variation of duct tape.

It's also sticky tape and just tape. Every other tape is duck/duct tape, parcel tape, electrical tape etc.

I don't save much actually. To the point where "You were lost to the Zone" and I had to completely restart STALKER again (it doesn't do auto-saves) I mostly save if I'm about to do something which I may want to back out of, like Fallout style stuff. Console RPGs I savewith 3 saves, current save, back-up save and "I may want to reverse this option later" save, which if I don't then becomes my current save. Other than I mostly jsut save when I'm exiting the game, enough games auto-save frequently enough these days you'll lose at max 10 minutes.

It has a touchscreen too. Also minor pet peeve but it's not a touchscreen on the back, just a touchpad, no screen.

I dunno, tapping things by using a toushcreen on the back doesn't sound like it'll be very easy. Like trying to pin the tail on the donkey. I saw a demo for one game where the touchpad was used to move the landscape around, like where the fingers went on the back a rolling hill moved around n pushed things about. Looks like devs could have some fun with it. It's certainly got more than enough inputs.

Didn't the PSP let you do that? I'd assume Remote Play is on the tables, I doubt they'd remove that. By the sounds of it's there's some kind of cloud syncing type deal going on with saves. So you can ply something on PS3, then pop onto the NGP and play same game right were you left off. But that depends on how similar the games are. Though they do have Minis n PSX games shared between the devices. I think the bummer that the moment is the lack of R2 n L2 buttons. But maybe the touch pad on the back will fill in for that...some how.
