Nice. Did they even do the "Premium Edition" there? Not the Cosmosphere Calendar Set, but the edition released to retailers in the States? I recall reading that it wasn't being distributed by NISA Europe, but it's fuzzy. Regardless, good get. That should have came with the hardcover artbook, too? For anyone interested in the amalgam of VN and RPG, Aselia the Eternal is being localized by JastUSA and is scheduled to arrive sometime this year.

@BrainHurtBoy...2: "Baten Kaitos Origins" Yesss! Absolutely love the Baten Kaitos games. One of the best role-playing affairs to come out of that generation.

Are they following the anime or the OVA? The OVA was the only thing I could stand. And by stand I mean adore.

It's also been lauded. It depends on where you go. The game is sold out in many places, though. If you decide to get it, I know Fry's had it when I last checked their website.

To be fair, the firearms really aren't much more than glorified crossbows. Reloading time is nothing but tedious. Generally, I fired one or two shots at the beginning of a battle in the same way that I would use javelins. Sure, you can end up with a row of riflemen, but it works in the same way as crossbowmen. Edit: I was aggrieved by the lack of javelins.

I'm a firm proponent of M&B — even vanilla. It's rough around the edges, that's for sure. Yet its combat is just so friggin' satisfying. There is nothing more arousing than hoisting your manly shaft, gilded of oak and heroism, and lobbing that mother across the map. Waiting... waiting... waiting... headshot. I've given Fire and Sword a go, and for anyone who enjoyed the first two, it is a must.

NIS America just announced they're localizing Arakawa Under the Bridge and Katanagatari. I've an aversion to dubs, but for those of you who prefer them, I can vouce for Arakawa Under the Bridge. Good stuff, that one. Wonky, goofy, pell mell and lush with slut-potatoes. Both scheduled to be released on July 5th. There are premium editions you can purchase. If you want, I'll list that information, too.

For anyone not subscribed to Atlus' newsletter — why the hell aren't you? According to the super-splendiferous explosion image they're going to have an Amazon sale on April 18th. The games pictured in the image are: 3D Dot Game Heroes, Trauma Team, Knights in the Knightmare(PSP), Radiant Historia, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, Demon's Souls, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 and Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble. If I still had my DS, I'd probably pick up Radiant Historia. I'm a sucker for 2D role-playing affairs.

Yeah, it does. It just wasn't next on my list for upgrading. I had an 8800GT that I needed to get rid of, and my old processor was burdened by the TLB bullshit that made it both slower than it should have been and unstable.
