I upgraded mine because my mobo/CPU was shot. Good excuse for an upgrade, though. I'm hoping for some sort of HDD deal during Black Friday that isn't immediately sold out. I'm running an old 500GB drive for everything that isn't my OS and programs, and it's starting to show its age (both in capacity and R/W). Also just realized I have the same CPU as you, GOH. Just plus the "k".

I get what you mean in that sense. Not a foreign concept. I guess I just always view different timelines as being alternate universes.

If you're into Civ and intend to get VI, it's a solid vanilla release (probably the best in a while) with some AI issues. Otherwise, BNW makes a hell of a difference.

I see. Maybe it just looks too flashy, so I'm thinking there isn't much going on besides that. How would you compare it to FFXIII when it comes to combat? It's obviously less traditional, but what you're describing seems like a mix of that and XII.

Yeah, season 5 I believe? Somewhere around there. Picard and Data had to disguise themselves as Romulans, and sneak in on a Klingon vessel. Spock's father died in that episode, too.

Man, this game's combat is baffling. Is it just QTEs and a few attacks with fancy animations or what? Because that's all I ever see.
