Ok I think I'm at the end of chapter 2 on PC. Hydrophobia is simply, a mess. You start the game in a static completely uninteractive apartment. Kate's eyes always seem so dead for some reason. And her accent. Its impossible to tell what her accent is it changes so much. You have your guy talking to you through your headset called Scoot, who's American for sure but the dialogue is atrocious. You run around the apartment and try to jump on things but it does nothing. You pick up items which seemingly have no affect on anything. Then you get the real game. Endless identical halls of barrels and shit. The platforming sections simply consist of climbing vertical pipes like a bizarre Assasins Creed except completely focused on climbing up. it feels so disconnected from the actual swimming sections that you may as well be playing another game. After a while you get your gun. The gunplay is so medicore and shitty and doesn't have a melee attack, so when your right in front of a guard your swinging round widely like an idiot. There's a searching mechanic for writing on walls that's simply trail and error, and most of your time is spent simply running to the next checkpoint. The swimming is ok. I'd give it a 2/10.

So I'm playing Witcher 1 again and during chapter 1 while doing all the side quests and main quests, its CLICKED. I'm enjoying myself! Maybe I just have to get in that Witcher grove, where I accept the shit. Or something. Seriously though. It fucking sucks till then though. Should a game be judged on a shit opening part?....yes. Yes it should. We judge games on excellent openings too!

Reply back to someone saying they have all the games offered They're actually using the user base of 77 million bullcrap worth noting that all of the the games offered have been on ones offered to PS+ subscribers before. So we DO get to keep them! Lots of conflicting info there

The Phoenix Wright comparisons in the great Eurogamer review made me tingle! Definetly getting this in a few weeks for PS3.

Wipeout HD is very nice indeed. Especially since its the full game with the Rage expansion. Funny though....the post has been taken down off the PS3 EU blog...in answer to someone in the comments the PS3 EU blog guy said .....maybe this will be PS+ stuff? EDIT: Post is back up now

Infamous and LBP are among the highest selling PS3 games though, a little bit cheeky since I'd wager the people most invested in the PSN service probably have everything except Dead Nation. Still I can't complain!

Infamous and Dead Nation for me so! I'd wager a LOT of people have LBP, Wipeout HD and Ratchet and Clank QFB though.

I think its always been there but well the internet wasn't so big as it was back in the PS1 days. Nowadays everyone has an opinion on everything that's occurring on consoles and PCs and I think its every factor that occurs in used in this stupid VS thing. Lets take PC upgrading. It used to a lot more prevalent, but now days that myth of having to upgrade every 3 months is false. but fanboys use that in their arguments. "DUR, YOU DONT HAVE TO UPGRADE PS3 OR 360 EVERT MONTH". Theres also the poor console ports, or good ones in some cases coming into argumentation Its just fanboys really. From both sides! "Oh I can't wait to play this new game with super awesome high textures and 64xMSAA and dedicated servers and free online" or the opposite 'side' "LOLERS I know I can play this game and don't have to download a bazillion patches to make it work!" There shouldn't be any arguments between gamers as PC gaming has always pushed Console gaming for years. The reason console gamers are getting free DLC and community created content from Portal 2 is because its on PC in the first place. By them having that available on PC they can work towards providing that stuff to console gamers.

Ok I preordered it on Steam when it went up, I mean its been really improved so a new player like me should just have a great game to play?....not exactly. Damn this game is really rough. Just everything about it is rough, the cutscenes, the controls, the low quality textures. I'll pace on though cause I like the setting and water based games

so the reviews are mixed. My mind is mixed. I see a lot of comparisons to Team Fortress 2 and how it should be reviewed like TF2 but TF2 wasn't released or reviewed as a standalone game when it first came out, it was part of the Orange Box. Will wait a few weeks to see what ye all think before dropping down my monies for it
