  1. http://vimeo.com/32483624 30 minutes long. Not for the feint of heart, but wow.
  2. I remember having a conversation about the change in location elsewhere. Some people who actually live in some of the new cities in the game told me that those cities are pretty damn fit for some noir action.
  3. Hey, that's two people that said they really liked the new Twilight! Do I dare step into that abyss?
  4. The 32 GB stick for Vita will be $120. You know, that's only $80 less than an iPod Touch...

Well the 3G game limit is 20MB, UMDs are just shy of a gig, so the bigger games on Vita could be a couple gig each (though not all games on PSP ever hit the 900MB capacity). As it currently stands you can fit a few dozen PSP games on a 4GB memory stick.

I think the price will drop quickly as it does for any flash. It's hard to fairly compare cards though - these are the size of a MicroSD, but when MMC cards died off, SD became the simplest format, so of course it's cheapest. It's been more fair to compare MS to CF, but I don't think there is a fingernail-size CF card with extra security now... TL;DR, Sony cards are a bit more, but it's been ages since it was uncalled for.

So after a proper look at PSP games, most hover around the 500MB range, those exceeding 1GB tend to be RPGs or the "AAA" 1st party titles.

  5. Game looks so, so awesome. I am incredibly excited for it, because the action looks perfect.
  6. Finally finished the draft for a review! Feels good, man. Time to work on my other review and a long-overdue preview...

I need to finish up an article or two myself. Damn you BF3 and Skyrim! I can't quit ye!

  7. I'm same as Ethan, only I carry a Daedric mace in my right hand.
  8. That sounds pretty incredible, but somehow I doubt Mandy Moore is actually getting mauled by a werewolf in the real thing.
  9. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bob-ostertag/uc-davis-protest_b_1103039.html This sums up the actions of the police quite nicely.
  10. I'd say I've "beaten" Skyrim seeing as I've finished the main quest and all of the "guild" ones, but to be honest, there's still so much to do that it doesn't really feel completed. Daedric weapons, finding all the Stones of Berenziah, etc.
  11. Wait, so the Twilight movies are actually good? Maybe I should watch one of them after all...
  12. Yeah, I saw someone on Reddit who spent an entire day forging ridiculously overpowered equipment. It's great that you have a mace that can one-hit-kill a dragon or a giant, but where's the fun in that?
  13. This is probably the most depressing fucking thing you'll ever see.
  14. Yeah, nearly all of them have given me shit, or have acted like whining little twerps. "People don't want to be sword" but I don't care; I'll sword every last one of them that says I'm just the Jarl's trained pet. I am NO ONE'S pet. NO ONE.
  15. This just might be the most important mod in the history of mods.
  16. One of my good friends posted that picture on Facebook, and he received a torrent of shit from others. "These people are criminals and pot smokers, they deserve to be taught what's what." Fuck, this country is depressing me.
  17. Man, Vile is AMAZING at Street Fighter. Whooped my ass up and down the court.

Neither of us got Sean off random, you can't reference basketball, Duke.

  18. As someone who is taking several courses in media where situations like this are discussed, I can tell you right now that not allowing press inside is the worst mistake you can make. People throw around terms like "liberal media" when in reality, those terms are bullshit. If there's an important story, the press does its best to cover it as accurately as possible. Yes, Fox and MSNBC spin their stories, but in the end, even if the story misses the boat entirely, there's always a kernel of truth that speaks louder than any possible spin. What am I getting at? Give the press complete unfettered access to this event. Speak to them often. And if the protesters do something fucked up, like that one guy shooting at the White House, then it will drown out a lot of the criticism and bad blood toward the police. But it also requires the police to do something else; keep your department under fucking control. You cannot afford to have pictures like THIS spread across every website and newspaper. I'm not one of those who believes the police are the enemy here, but I DO believe that because of the traditional shit officers have gotten away with, they think they can just "clean up" the movement by punching and tear gassing them into submission. There may be people who are acting violent and need to be taken care of. Take care of those specific people, then STOP. Don't start punching priests and pepper-spraying grannies. The American hearts are won by the images of humanity on their front page. If you put a leash on your neanderthals, and work to only suppress the violent ones, then they will see the protestors' actions for what they really are. But every time you beat up some poor person who was only on the sidelines, all the American people see is a corrupt police state that does its damnedest to suppress any form of free thought that doesn't coincide with the corporations. TL;DR; Let the press in, and put your fucking mutts on a leash. EDIT: And for the love of all that is holy, own up to your actions. Saying "we didn't use tear gas or flash bangs" when several videos show that you did is beyond farcical, and it makes everyone enraged. A simple apology and an explanation for why you had to use those tools would suffice.
  19. http://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/health/tomato-sauce-pizza-a-vegetable-congress-gop-healthier-school-lunches-expensive-article-1.978339 You heard right, folks. Pizza is now considered a "vegetable" if the shitty pre-packaged food makers put two spoons of tomato paste on it. What a brilliant idea! Instead of feeding our children healthy food, health is "too expensive" for them. Let's just let these lobbyists place more money in our pockets so Pizza Hut, McDonald's and Chik-Fil-A can move further into our food programs! Make your choice, kids; prison food (in Texas, the same food served to prisoners is served to children) or an all-you-can-eat barrage of fatty substances! And not every kid can afford to bring lunch. Way to fight the health initiate, GOP! I'm glad McDonald's is patting you on the back for keeping our children obese. If you'll excuse me, I'll be in the parking lot, breaking into a car so I can smash the car door repeatedly against my head and wonder when our Congress was high-jacked by the greatest fucking troglodytes since the Dark Age.
  20. Yeah, see, that is way too cluttered, and a legend would have been greatly appreciated. Otherwise? Fantastic game.
  21. You know, looking back, this trailer spoils an AWFUL lot of Dragon Age: Origins and completely misrepresents the tone of the game.
    1. Hot Heart

      Hot Heart

Not really spoiling if you have to look back to realise. Though, yeah, tone is completely off. That's EA marketing for you.
