14.3 for me, I'd say 12hrs is maybe true time given AFKness and being exploring a fair chunk.

  3. I miss you guys. Update: I'm living with my partner in a new place and we don't have the internet. I'm working full time and have very little time to do much outside of spending time with aforementioned partner and resting. Miss you all though, and I'm working on getting the internet in there.

And why not, hmmm? Being poor, and thus have no money to buy said game, is exactly why it's OK to pirate! I mean, they haven't lost a sale anyway. What could be the harm in that?

I refer you to the 1,420 posts in the Piracy thread for a full discussion of the issues. ;)

  5. Definitely worth checking out his other stuff too.
  6. Edit: Good job Connor, posted in the wrong thread. May as well make this relevant. I picked it up earlier. I played DIablo 3 and vastly enjoyed it up until the endgame when things got bad quick, I'm hoping this is remedied. So far I'm not crazy about the combat but it wasn't particularly thrilling in the beginning of D3 either so there we go. I probably shouldn't compare them too heavily but...Well, everyone is bound to, right?
  7. I asked myself the same question the other day. I seem to recall that he complained to Skinny Pete and Badger about having to pay taxes and that he was an outlaw. To be fair, he doesn't seem to spend any of the money anyway, he bought a fancy house and sound system and then just threw away most of his money when he turned his house into Skid Row... He's probably got quite a bit stashed. Who knows though.
  8. God damn I miss his old answering machine
  9. In regards to your first spoiler: In regards to your second spoiller:
  10. That scene was so badass, made me grin ear to ear. I can't believe the episode this Sunday is the last for a year, not sure what I'll do with myself. Any predictions on the undoubtedly big shit that's going to go down?
  11. Could be. Either way, I don't know how much longer she'll be an issue. So this is probably my favourite scene. So incredible.
  12. Oh yeah, I adore Saul. In fact my friend bought me a "better call Saul" t-shirt for my birthday a week or so ago, will get a pic of that eventually... Yeah Mister Jack, you're pretty right about her, she's rather judgemental for someone who wanted to be involved but I just don't think she knew just what Walter was doing. Walter says something similar, I believe, about her probably believing that he is just working in a nice little lab with "his white coat and pocket protector" and what not... She was happy to be involved when she was oblivious the other things he was doing. She wasn't aware of the murders or anything, she only found out about Gale's death after they'd started their money laundering operation and he still didn't directly say "yep, that was me." but when Walter kills Gus Fring and Hector in the explosion, he pretty much gloats about it, and Skyler gets pretty terrified of him, which I suppose is understandable enough... As he gets further and further in his "career", he becomes more and more arrogant and he has no issues with now telling Skyler what it is he's up to ("Out burying bodies?" "Robbing a train.") and so forth. tl;dr: I think she thought that except for the actual cooking of meth, the operation was fairly innocent up until Gus Fring's death.
  13. Yeah, at this point, Jesse is the one character who I want to see come out alive and well, really. Walter can burn in hell, I stopped being able to justify what he was doing by the end of season 4, and he's only gotten worse since then. I'm also attached to Walter in a really weird way. I mean he is completely deplorable, but it's weird seeing the "good guy" from the beginning who everyone was rooting for (still up for debate but he was certainly a far margin nicer than he is now) to complete and utter evil. I still root for him despite him clearly being the bad guy now. So how does everyone feel about Skylar? On the one hand, she can be an incredibly annoying character, if only because she serves as an obstacle to Walter being able to do whatever the hell he wants, but then I guess she's the one rational character in Walter's life at the moment, for the most part. I mean, Hank and Marie aren't around all that often, the kids are with them, and Skylar is the one who's against all this, even if her brief foray into the criminal goings-on in season 4 did imply she was coming around to the whole thing. I've seen a lot of people rationalise her behaviour on r/breakingbad, for example. I do feel bad for her in a way, but again, I'm still rooting for Walt and she definitely seems like she's going to be a problem in the near future...
  14. I saw American Psycho for the first time the other night. I enjoyed it. Christian Bale is fantastic in it. You don't really notice what a good actor he is in Batman because he's behind that suit most of the time and he's a fairly normal character when he isn't, but damn.
  15. I'm loving it, truly. To echo above sentiments, it's like Saints Row without all the nonsense (open world sandbox crime sim-esque), Arkham City without all the flashy flips and jumping around (in terms of combat). It's a lot of fun, and there seems to be quite a lot to do outside of the main quest, at least so far. The PC port is fantastic, too. Really great, up there with Deus Ex in terms of how glad I am it worked out, major respect for that, and other devs/publishers would do well to take note (Deus Ex was sort of a PC franchise already, whereas this was previously a True Crime game, a franchise that I don't believe has seen the PC, arguably making it more impressive).
  16. Checking in, I picked it up yesterday for 3 pounds (used a bunch of saved up credit) and it will be arriving today, so can't really argue at that price. Good to see people seemed to enjoy it, I do enjoy rhythm games (Rhythm Heaven was one of my fav DS titles, as well as Elite Beat Agents and Osu Tatake Ouenden)
  17. I got a new job at the hospital today, woop!

  19. I'm back from Paris! I had an amazing time, though my phone was stolen by pickpocket kids, haha. Littlepirate: All the French women I saw were some of the most fashionable and beautiful women I've laid eyes on, and their attention to their look is the same with their body hair.
