Considering that, why NOT cut the price? Even if you cut it so that buying a console and a game only breaks even, that's still something. I mean, who the fuck is going to buy a new console and then not buy a game?

It does seem to get brought up a lot in Watamote discussions, although the protagonist of that series sounds like a complete fucking asshole.

Either that or they are collectively living in make-believe fairy tale land where the kids all beg their parents for a Wii U for Christmas and the Xbox One and PS4 don't exist and everyone really wants to buy a Wii U at full price but they are just waiting for the right time and every time Mario jumps an angel gets its wings.

I do have to admit that the Mr. Wilson rap at the end was worth it.

Until now it had been up in the air if that game would ever come to the west, so I am quite pleased about this announcement. As for the rest of it, though, who gives a shit.

I remember that fucking Dead Rising lightsaber. You literally had to play survival mode for 14 straight real life hours to unlock that shit. I took the plunge one day, and on hour 11 the fucking game froze up when I went to the food court to get more supplies. Never again. Never fucking again.

Sequels also getting turned into MOBA games when they weren't MOBAs before. I hate MOBA games! Fucking cut it out! Magicka, Dungeon Defenders 2, and even Dead Island are doing this. Stop it!

I got this game on the PS3. While it's a little dumb that online play is locked until you play it for a while, I really like everything else. Even if you're alone, you can find the bones of adventurers that you can revive into AI allies, so you'll rarely be completely alone if you don't want to be. I am playing as the elf right now because my friend intends to be the amazon, and while I wasn't sure if I'd like being an archer I'm actually having a surprising amount of fun with her. The game kinda feels like a D&D campaign thanks to the minimalist story and the presence of a narrator who does pretty much all the voices outside of shop dialogue and battle cries. On another note, I have yet to run into any framerate issues.

Something interesting I learned about the series is that according to the creator the reason it still exists at all, let alone got an anime, is because of the enormous overseas popularity, particularly in the states. You're welcome, Mokocchi.
