  1. I factor replayability into game length. If a game is short but it has multiple paths or New Game +, that automatically at least doubles it for me.
  2. http://rightlinksblog.com/2012/08/29/peta-crashes-biker-gathering-not-to-be-missed/ Take note that this is not the Onion.
  3. I actually hated Far Cry 2 so I'm even more surprised than you.
  4. If money is no object, then I'm fine with games being whatever length is right for them. If a game is really short with no multiplayer or bonus features, though, I tend to either rent it or wait for a sale/price drop, regardless or whether it's good or not.
  5. I would agree except for the fact that most games cost 60 dollars when they come out. Even if a game is good, if sixty dollars gets me barely more play time than an afternoon at the movies, I'd feel kinda cheated. I'm against padding, but I'm also against the idea that a short, simple game should cost the same as something huge like Skyrim or GTA.
  6. I like how LSP looks pretty much exactly the same.
  7. Preordered the 360 version. I would have gone PC except I'm running out of hard drive space and my laptop tends to have problems playing huge open world games for some reason I can't figure out.
  8. It'd be awkward as hell to aim and shoot with something that's shaped like that. The wand shape is there for a reason. Still, I give them points for trying to make this part of what may very well be the default controller of the next playstation.
  9. Yeah. I know this is basically an HD remake of a PS2 game but it still looks pretty damn nice on the vita.
  10. I need to make some space on my hard drive. If I delete my Origin games, does anyone know if there's a time or download limit on reinstalling them later? I know steam lets you redownload as many times as you want but I don't want to get an urge to play Dragon Age down the line only to find out I have to rebuy it.
  11. I think that's my favorite one so far.
  12. Multiplayer games that reward working to complete objectives and generally being a team player more than your kill ratio. I've heard Black Ops 2 does something like this but I haven't gotten to play it yet so I don't know.
  13. My cat ran away last night...I don't think she's coming back.

  14. I meant to say driver. I dunno why adapter came out.
  15. I used to use the dualshock adapter back when I had windows vista but for some reason when I got windows 7 it just didn't work anymore. I've been told the windows 7 driver is supposed to work but I could never make it happen.
  16. Okay this game has WAY better social links than Persona 3. I haven't gotten all of them yet so maybe there's a few bitches and assholes I don't know about, but so far I haven't come across anyone that I loathe the way I loathe at least a good third of the links in P3.
  17. I bought the game full price. As far as I'm concerned, I paid the respect it's due. Now I play it however the hell I want.
  18. Going back through it, I really like some of the subtle touches Telltale took with episode 5 to make the player more emotionally invested. For example...
  19. At least they give the ironman mode in there at all for purists. I intend to do one save/reload run just to see the game and then one on ironman to challenge myself.
  20. Huh. I've heard all these horror stories about how Shadow is an absolutely brutal boss early on in the game who had players throwing their controllers, but I only needed two tries to beat her. In fact, the only reason I lost the first time was because I went in with only half health/SP just because I figured I might as well find out her attacks and weaknesses. Either Atlus rebalanced that boss or the various grinding and persona fusing I did beforehand made me better prepared for her.
