So did anybody catch the new episode?

Has anyone tried doing the co-op mode with a friend on the PC? I can do it with random strangers, but whenever I try to do it with my friend we can't even load the level.

I watched Trick 'r Treat as my Halloween movie (though I didn't actually get a chance to watch it until after Midnight). It's actually pretty good. It's not shit your pants scary like...well, any horror movie claims to be, but I found it consistently entertaining throughout. I considered it more like a horror comedy with a very dark sense of humor.

So is the game actually any good?

This. Also, I was picking up riddler trophies last night and actually found a Batman one that, as far as I could tell, can only be reached by Catwoman. I'm not against the whole online pass thing, but seriously, if you're going to use it for single-player content, then at the very fucking least don't use it for content necessary to get 100% completion on the base game. The Catwoman chapters really don't add a whole lot to the story and can be skipped. Her trophies and content have their own progress section in the stats menu and don't affect Batman's completion %. But Batman has trophies he can't fucking reach himself? That's bullshit. Which one was that? I have nearly all the Batman trophies and so far I haven't needed Catwoman to reach any of his.

A machete certainly would be handy to have.

It's just too bad they had to turn it into cheesy butt-rock later on.

Season 2 just premiered. Seems like a good time to resurrect this thread and see who else is watching.

I bought a 3DS. Worst gaming purchase of my life. And now they have that ridiculous second stick add-on that should have been there in the first place? I feel like they're really losing touch by trying to hold on to an audience that is steadily abandoning them in favor of their smartphones.

Any word on if this game will ever have controller support?

I don't care what people choose to gripe about on a forum. I just don't want to hear it while I'm trying to play the game.

I don't think I've ever played a game with as many dickheads as Battlefield. You always expect the occasional asshole complaining about a shitty team or a douche bag talking about how elite he is in pretty much any multiplayer game, but for some reason they all just FLOCK to the Battlefield series like it's their Mecca. It really makes it hard to have fun.

I bought the sega genesis collection on steam while it was 7 bucks, and it has some pretty good stuff on it. Also has a fair amount of crap, though...I wish there was a collection made up of just the good stuff, but you gotta have filler in there somewhere, I guess.

I forgot how completely not fun this damn game is until you have ranked up enough times to start unlocking some decent stuff. Everyone I play against is 30 levels above me and wiping the floor with my ass.

I really don't like the fact that I can't bind commands to the extra buttons on my sixty dollar mouse. Battlefield is one of the main reasons I BOUGHT this damn thing.

As in pushing a button and putting a mark over a guy to point him out to your teammates.

Is the tagging feature from BC2 still in this game? If so, how do you use it?
