  1. I played the 360 version, which is quite different. Also, Transformers: War for Cybertron. The versus is average but the co-op is great.
  2. I liked Ghostbusters. I don't care what the haters say, that game was fun. Hell, I even liked the multi. Busting ghosts with my friends was great.
  3. Another immigrant from Old Country. Most people have at least one game they're fond of, yet either the critics ripped it to shreds or the gaming public calls it a disappointment. Sometimes both. Well this is the thread for you to say "Nay! This game was good and I don't care what you people think!" So which underdogs are you fond of?
  4. Really, it depends on the game. Can you imagine trying to play Veteran mode WITHOUT regenerating health?
  5. I thought it was Motorstorm too but just in case it isn't I'm gonna say DIRT.
  6. Anyone played the Multi beta for KZ3?
  7. Also your Xbox freezes after day 2 if you go in the food court thanks to a bug. Fuck you, Dead Rising.
  8. God, Bouchart. Yes. THAT. I loathe that with a passion. I also don't care for spring jumps that require you to hit the jump button at a very specific time to get a jump boost. If you can just hold the button down that's fine, but when you have to tap it every game seems to have its own idea of when the right time is, and if you mess that up when you make the jump you're pretty much screwed.
  9. Did you mean to post the same video twice? I don't see the connection.
  10. I really REALLY hate it when games will put a bunch of springs on the floor and ceiling, and then somewhere in between there's spikes or enemies deadly to the touch or something like that. HATE HATE HATE.
  11. Mile High Club and my Meat Boy avatar are the two achievements I am proudest if. I'll 100% Meat Boy at some point but gah, so many new games right now.
  12. So basically you're saying Gawker didn't learn a thing...
  13. Chick-Fil-A, people. Someone show some love for the chicken sandwich in here.
  14. Regarding the lifestyle thing, I think that with the right incentive, people would make the adjustment. If enough people did something as simple as turning off lights when they're leaving the room it would have a very noticeable effect. Just a random example off the top of my head: maybe the government could offer tax breaks to power companies who give discounts to people whose power usage falls below a certain threshold, kinda like how car insurance companies can give discounts for being accident-free.
  15. Well now, I can't imagine what THAT has to do with playwriting...
  16. Is that your professional opinion? I'm not being sarcastic, I just know that tracking the economy is kinda your job so I am just wondering if you picked that up in your research.
  17. What exactly was this guy a professor of?
  18. I usually throw out the best and worst option automatically in debates like this and try to think somewhere in between. I am of the belief that tech is always improving (not enough to completely replace oil right now, mind you) and that when the price of oil goes up, people are going to do less driving and flying. I know that isn't the only way oil is used but it's a huge percentage. Industrial first-world nations are extremely wasteful with the stuff, and eventually they'll have to either stop wasting it or go broke, and nobody likes being broke. As they say, necessity is the mother of invention. Basically, I think conservation will be kind of a pain in the ass to work with but we will be able to keep up our current standards of living, more or less.
  19. So in regards to the global energy concern, there seem to be five main schools of thought. Which one do you subscribe to? If you believe something that the poll happens to overlook, post about it.
