Valve has this nasty habit of making their achievements harder than Chinese calculus. Look no further than the earlier days of TF2.

I would have been fine with it had it included maybe 3 or 4 more games on it. Mario World 1 and maybe 2. Mario 64. Just...SOMETHING. Hell, The SNES had a Mario All-Stars that HAD Mario World on it, but they didn't even put that version on the disc. I mean what the hell? Oh wait. Virtual Console. You dicks.

A lot of publishers are guilty of making it just a little too obvious that all they were after was a quick buck. Whether it's subpar special editions, uninspired DLC, or just plain nickel and diming you for stuff that should have been in the box in the first place, we're often getting screwed. Post the most egregious examples you've seen here.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles?

Steam achievements would be a little more fun to me if they went into one cohesive page where you can see and compare everything like with XBL and PSN. I like seeing my cumulative gamerscore or trophy level from all those games I've played since I bought the console (or since the PS3 started doing trophies anyway). Keeping all the games separate from each other just kinda seems to defeat the point to me.

Well if it said "It only does ISA" everyone would run out and buy a 360.

Frankly, I think any achievement where boosting is a more viable option than trying to get it legit is stupid.

I thought Prototype was fun...for about an hour. After that it began to seriously try my patience.

The Halo 3 multi achievements were the WORST. They practically ruined the online game.

Even if the ISA wasn't full of douches I'd probably still like Helghast more. And what the hell happened to Hakha? He was the best character in the ISA.
