It bugs me how in Call of Duty the enemy can snap to cover but you can't. Come on, that just isn't playing fair. Edit: This applies to quite a few military shooters, but the CoD series is a particular offender.

No there are not. Animal cruelty is not a thing you should get nothing more than a fine for. It's sick, evil behavior and we need harsher punishments for it. If you wanna say animal lives aren't as important as human lives, fine. Prison time should still be a minimum. At least a few years. But let's not depress ourselves by focusing on animal cruelty. This should be a feelgood thread.

I liked the poker in Red Dead, but I can understand how it would be annoying if you don't already know how to play. I guess it'd be fair to take it out of the main storyline, but leave it in as a sidequest and multiplayer?

that sucks, i hope they come back! i'd stab someone in the eye and make them eat it afterward if they took my cat. when i was little i remember some douche bag in the neighborhood was putting poison in catfood tins outside his house cause he was sick of them going through his lawn. like 8 cats died before someone finally caught him. sometimes i seriously hate people. That's horrible. I hope they threw his ass in prison for that.

I got one. I hate it when a game has deathtraps that kill you, but enemies can walk right through it like it's a sunny meadow.

Another immigrant from old country, this is the thread to gripe about things that you see games do that irritate you. It can be related to bad design, poor programming, bad storytelling, or stuff that just plain isn't fun. Note that if it only applies to one game, it doesn't count. So you can't say: "I hate this jump! I can't make this jump! Why is it so hard!?" But you can say: "I hate it when platformer games require pixel perfect positioning with your character's feet to make a platform jump" Got it? Then get to it!

Sometimes I make a comment to acknowledge someone, leave for a bit to do research or do whatever I was advised to do or so on, and nobody else has posted when I come back. Oh shit! *Rushes to 360* Edit: Ok, I think I might actually prefer the Japanese version (which is included) gameplay-wise, as it has item drops and you use mutant orbs before using life to use powers. By comparison, the US version was more obviously made to suck out the ol' quarters.

I still go there (but will probably stop once the new layout hits and am VERY OCD so I hate ugly webpages) but I don't do nearly as much commenting as I used to because I've moved over here for the most part. It feels like less of a crapshoot over here, since there's less chance of some dumbass trying to troll. Moderation over at kotaku is kind of lax when it comes to people who actually NEED it.
