Ren is a very loyal, obedient dog. My sister actually trained her very well completely by winging it, which kind of amazes me. She doesn't do more than half of the things that normally piss people off when it comes to dogs.
You would not believe how fucking hard it was to get that picture. She's actually a very good dog and doesn't squirm or struggle when you put stuff on her, but that dog costume was a cheap piece of shit and the velcro kept snapping off from the slightest movement on her part.
These are my two cats. The one on the left is only a little over a year old. Saved him as a kitten from the elements. I don't have a picture of the dog on the PC I'm using right now.
I don't see any real universal standard for "good" characterization because so much depends on the game they're in. Methods that work for one might not work so well for another, so I can't make a list of things that I think "work". As for characters I can relate to...I'll have to think about that one for a bit.
I know he's just a placeholder but I can't stand that Down Syndrome Commander Shepard up there. I hope Rei figures out something a little more permanent soon.
I'm in the position of seeing Dragon Age as a chore. I beat it once on the ps3 and enjoyed it very much. Then I got a new pc with waaay better specs and picked up the PC version. But then other games started coming out and I got distracted. Now I have to force myself to finish the PC version so I can import my save into DA2 on the PC.
My problem with the second one is that it was too fucking long and it took itself more seriously than it should have without the writing chops to back it up. That middle stretch without Optimus was just painful. And the Optimus/Fallen fight at the very end was bullshit. If you like it for nothing more than giant fighting robots, then that fight should have pissed you off.
